Obwohl wir aus der Gegend stammen, haben wir es nie ins Casino geschafft. Erst ein Bericht in der Mittelbayerischen Zeitung hat uns daran erinnert doch mal herzukommen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Allein schon wegen der original 60er-Jahre Inneneinrichtung und dem gereichten Porzellan rentiert der Besuch.Die Karte ist klein, aber fein. Wir hatten das Mittagsmenue, dazu noch Wasser, Roséwein und Crème brûlée als Nachspeise, schlieÃlich noch zwei Tassen Kaffe und haben keine 50 Euro bezahlt. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und flott, das Essen hervorragend. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch in der alten Heimat.

This is a quaint hotel and restaurant in the small town of Selb. The accommodations were nice except there was no AC but that is not that uncommon. It was just record highs while I was there in the mid-90's. The food was very good and the service was very nice as well. I often went on jogs around the surrounding farms and took some Mtn bike trails that started just at the top of the hill. Very beautiful countryside.

Drei Abende verbrachten wir im Restaurant Goethe. Das Essen schmeckte, das Gambrinus (0,5=1,20 Euro) natürlich auch. Dazu waren wir Becherovka Lemond süchtig. Der Service war sehr nett, besonders hervorzuheben ist der Sohn der Inhaber...

I have got a "local request" about This restaurant. The place is very calm a bit "Middle of the nowhere" . I Was here with my Family. The restaurant Was a really nice surprise for us. Must to try it.
