We went there during the fair - call for a reservation! The atmosphere is lovely, with a lot of charm. The waiters were nice and funny. We ordered pasta and risotto and it was very tasty. Especially the pasta with parmesano, where they offer you a whole spectacle preparing them. I recommend this restaurant to every italian food lover.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great food experience as they regularly change their menu and come up with interesting combinations that taste brilliant. If you have special requests the kitchen will always try to accomodate them. The owner knows his stuff when it comes to food and wine and is always ready to recommend dishes according to your taste. The atmosphere is cosy and although this restaurant has a reputation for being frequented by "upper-end society folk" you never feels out of place. You can attend dressed up to the hilt or in jeans if you desire. You are always most heartily welcomed. It is an expensive place to eat but well worth it. The portions are perfect. At first you may think not think so but I have always come away feeling satisfied. This place is excellent for business lunches as well. Especially for treating guests outwith Hannover. It will leave a lasting impression.

The restaurant is an amazingly beautiful old house, walls and furniture are made of genuine woodwork that gives the place a great feel to be there. Food was great, the 3 dish set menu for our group was special

Zu diesem Lokal fällt mir nur ein Wort ein: durchschnittlich. Der Wirt ist recht zuvorkommend, das Ambiente ist ganz nett, aber nicht wirklich schön und das Essen (Involtini und Schnitzel mit Limonensauce) ist OK, aber nicht herausragend.

In Hannover for business, a colleague brought me here for dinner, close to the Expo fairgrounds. It's small and pretty popular, several tables for eating in and also a busy take-out business. I had wonderful cheese cannelloni with bolognese sauce, followed by a lovely panna cotta. My colleague had a steak of some kind which was so tender he hardly needed his knife. The owner and servers are very friendly!

We lived in Immersen Arpke and wanted to go to Hannover by train. Unfortunately someone decided to make a suicide and did it so our train stopped in Lehrte. We were waiting 30 minutes on the train and after for the bus cca 20 min, and we gave up. This nice restaurant is located next to the railway station and offer beers and wide range of foods. We asked for a Hefebier and a dark Köstritzer from the tap (2.6 Eur 0.3 dl) and also ate some home made pasta (12 Eur) and a rukola salad (9 Eur). The service is good, the staff is polite. In my opinion the enterieur design is the most important feature of the place..I liked it very much. Anyway this place saved our stomach so..Thankyou!

Iâve been at Kretschmanns 2 evenings during the Hannover Fair.The menu is offering a lot of interesting meals. All I ate was fantastic and all my colleagues had looked very good and nobody had a reason to claim something.The salad as well as the vegetables and the meat was extremely fresh.The waitress was very kind and took care of us all the time even if the restaurant was full of guests. She was speaking english very well, what made our stay very comfortable as we have been a group of people from several countries.If you will ever be in Sehnde, this restaurant should be your meal-provider.
