This little restaurant lies hidden in the forest near Manderscheid but is definitely worth visiting. The people were really friendly and cheerful and they try to get a connection with their customers.It didn't take a long time before our meals were ready and the food itself was very tasteful and definitely worth it's money. I would really advise this restaurant.

As I may have said in an earlier review - as a hiker, you turn up in civilisation, hungry, at the oddest times during the day. Many restaurants have fixed kitchen hours - understandably, but finding one that offers non-stop service is ever more delightful at that. The "Alte Molkerei" is one of those...with a small menu (always a good sign for freshness), you can enjoy their German and Polish dishes all through the day.The food - we both chose Polish dishes - was delicious. Leave some space for dessert - there's a local ice cream on offer that is worth the sin!A modern, stylish and tasteful interior makes for a cosy, kitsch-less atmosphere.Service is very friendly but could be a little more attentive (though that might have been the odd hour, too).All in all a very nice experience that we fully recommend!

Good Italian resto. Nice place to sit. Very accurate team. I was wondered by the very fair pricing of the menu. A very nice surprise. The only point of criticism : Boiled eggs in the lasagne does not seems to be very Italian. Although very relax restaurant.

Very good food and charming attentive service. The staff do not speak English (and my German is poor!) but went over and above to help us choose and order from the menu. Well priced and good plain food.

Michelin 1-star rated restaurant, worth its rating.The best restaurant in Germany I've eaten so far.French cuisine - in combination with the hotel stay you can find very interesting hotel/restaurant arrangements! Very professional staff, very charming restaurant, with candle lights and flowers all over the place. Wide selection of wines. Both wines and menus good value for money.

Great location on the lakefront. We had dinner there which was excellent and stopped for breakfast the next morning. Has to be seen to be believed. Everything you could want and all of it excellent quality !!
