It's a real treat to dine here and we had a great night.In comparison to other fine dining establishments In the area this tops the lot!Many thanks for taking the time to review - delighted you enjoyed your evening so much.Daniel's menus have certainly been well-received and now it's getting towards summer, the new, seasonal, produce gives extra scope to his imagination! Drinks in the garden before dining, watching the little ducklings wandering around, makes summer dining evening more pleasurable!

Hidden away in The Market Square this gem of a restaurant is to be found. Great atmosphere, wonderful experience, probably the best pizza ever enjoyed. A great team who work so hard to ensure the enjoyment of their customers. Great value and superb food. Well done !

We dined at most places during our stay at Center Parcs and this was the worst of the places. We were sat just inside whilst most table were occupied in the open area. I dont know if they were short of staff but I felt like we were forgotten. We had to ask to order the meals and then they were very slow at arriving - in excess of 30 minutes The food was OK but nothing special.Bonjour WhatNoBiscuits, many thanks for taking the time to review us here at Café Rouge Whinfell.I am sorry to read you review of the restaurant and would like to apologise for the wait time you encountered. It is definitely not something we want our customers to experience and we try and book the restaurant accordingly to avoid such instances. We were really glad that we just managed to find a table on a busy Friday lunch time, as the food was very good. Portion sizes good and quality excellent. Service was good but a bit slow due to the amount of folk ordering at the same time but it was definitely worth the small delay.

Stopped in Penrith on our why up to Scotland for some lunch.(Feed up of rubbish motorway services). Had an excellent lunch at Chapter 12. Staff are brilliant and the food was really good. Will definitely be try here again when we need a coffee stop.

Four and Twenty is one of those restaurants that you might pass by unless someone you knew directed or took you there. Lucky for us someone did. While visiting Penrith we had the great fortune to go to this lovely boutique restaurant. A small menu yes, but completely adequate and well thought out. It would be useless to suggest a dish because the menu changes often, but everyone was pleased with their meal. The wine list is also small but adequate to the task and overall very reasonable. The staff is also very engaging and their attention and goodhearted humor is part of the experience. I can confidently recommend this gem to anyone.
