...3 people, 50 Euro in a self service place reminiscent of the ones at gas stations in the highways in Germany...A total hassle t get your food (you no be able to carry anything properly so you will have to go to the cashier at least twice per person...We were super hungry so we ate...but no, no way Iâm coming back...Dear TheRealGelatoGirl! We usually come here to have a good wood oven fired italian type pizza, means thin and fresh. The service is fast and mostly friendly, the prices a good deal for what you get.Besides the pizzas the salads are very good, same for the starters (I recommend the Bruschette and soup).The only little complaint is the constant running TV (which is ok when there is an important italian soccer game on .. but besides this it is not very comforable for clients there)

The isolated location, in the nature and overlooking a lake, is really nice. Visited by local people, who were rather the loud types. The cuisine however was not refined enough, apart from a potato soup and the desserts. The salad buffet was boring and uninviting. The main dishes, typical of the region based on meat were heavy, and presented in âstuffyâ way, kind of âpeasantâ style, not aligned with the restaurant prices. To our surprise the house wine was so bad, that one could not drink a second sip, although locally produced in a wine rich region.

Mezzo is a very nice restaurant located in a a beautiful spot in Metzigen. If you like to eat alfresco you will be more than happy. Try local dark (similar to ale) beer.

We spent my birthday evening at Angolo because I remember our last visit which was great in all meanings. This time i was disappointed. Bruschetas was not crispy - white bread taste won but prosecco made this evening nice! hope next time it will be better!
