The place looks like on the photographs, really! I spent there only three days because of my business trip but that was like vacation! Beautiful rooms, very warm (in the middle of first frost in November), fantastic restaurant, good food (unforgettable breakfasts!!) and good service, very nice and helpful waiters. Everything designed in every detail. Close to the center of Kharkiv (15 min by taxi), great for a weekend or just to drop by to the restaurant. This restaurant is located in the very heart of Kharkiv city in a separate 2 floors house and is made as an aristocratic manor house with the inside decoration that supports the idea. The meals are great!There is a choice - traditional European cuisine as well as they offer Japanese meals like sushi and roles.2 floors of the restaurant are well equipped and well designed. Both have summer terraces. On the first floor you can smoke cigarettes and hookah. On the second floor at the terrace it is only IQOS allowed to smoke. It is unusual for all the restaurants of this First Line Group (this restaurant belongs to this Group) - usually they are standing for health life so it is prohibited to smoke in any their restaurants and Chekhov is the exception. There is a small yard with a parking for 5-6 cars.Nice place to meet and to eat.We've visited it twice - for lunch and for dinner. Good for children as well - children menu + toys and small zone for children to play + real birds in the cell.Our restaurant team thanks you for such a generous review! The area the restaurant is located is not great. There are few parking spaces. However, once 8nside, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The decor is modern and appropriate. There are mostly tables, but there area few half booth, half chair tables. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. There is a good selection of menu items that are traditionally Italian, including carbo ara, fettuccine, penne, ravioli, risotto and lasagna dishes. Additionally, they have a half dozen each fish, beef, and chicken entrees. The most extensive are there pizzas... 20 different choices.Surprisingly the side dishes included broccoli, spinach and asparagus options. This is it typical of Ukrainian restaurants. For an entree, I ordered the Beef Lasagna with a Bread Basket. The lasagna was fresh with a good balance of sauce and cheese.My date ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. It was a good portion for an entree and was fresh.The bill came to 450 grivna... $17 USD! Great food for a great price

If you do, that's the place for you.. We've been there twice, and the result was the same: 10-12 cubes of ice with some drink. I took Gin&Tonic, the first sip was normal, the second (few second later) already too watery.. To pay 4 ⬠for a bunch of ice cubes, is not satisfying.. Nice location, kind service.

Went there for dinner upon recommendation. We were met at the door by a young waitress who really did not seem to be interested at all! I asked if they had an English menu. Told very sternly âNoâ. I think we spent about three minutes looking at the menu. If you have just won the lottery, great! Otherwise donât bother. We left within 10 minutes.
