Eten & Drinken is so close to Kass (Cheese) Museum and also near the statue of the âKissing Ladyâ. Tourists flock here and there is always a line up to be seated. Mainly Bier (Beer!), draft or otherwise, hard liquor, combined with burgers or any continental favourite. Outside seating gives a fantastic view of the landmarks nearby and passing crowd. Very relaxing and very courteous service.

The lifesize wooden ship inside the restaurant first put me off as being a silly tourist trap but this is actaully a nice place with friendly service and food prepared with fresh ingredients and by competent chefs. And not too pompous nor too casual. Also suitable for families. The one weakness might be the winelist that is made up of industrial wineries although none of these are bad wines.Thank you so very much for your appreciation of our restaurant, food and service. Great beer selection, cool music, friendly staff, a house cat with attitude, relaxed atmosphere and a super cosy decor. The view to the enormous church is also fine.I had a tasty beef stew with tender meat, chipotle and black peas. My wifeâs white fish with fennel cream was dull, though.Nevertheless, De Binnenkomer is a good place to hang out and have a little treat.

This was our first visit to Wildschut and opted for the Albert Heijn promotional menu. Although choice was limited we expected that but the promotion gave us a chance to try out the food at Wildschut and we were very impressed. A diverse selection of starters was exceptionally good and well presented. The main of entrecôte was nicely cooked and well presented on the plate. Desert was a nice finishing touch. Sides of bread, frites and salad made the whole meal very satisfying and of excellent value. Staff were excellent, giving very good service. Only slight negative was the noise level of conversation in the part of the restaurant we were in - sometimes difficult to hear each other across the table. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant is slightly at the edge of the historic centre, meaning removed from the tourist crowds. The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. We started with drinks (great beer from the island of Texel) and they prepared us a special cheese platter. We then had a variety of dishes, including a juicy and excellently prepared sirloin steak. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, and we left the hotel after digestives in a very good mood.

We visited this restaurant in our hometown after making a reservation utilizing a Groupon-like action from a large supermarket-chain. Every second diner gets a free meal with the coupon. We were somewhat surprised to find out this only applied to one special menu with set choices but not to the a la carte menu of the place. Understandable but not well communicated in advance.The food itself was of excellent quality although the portions were clearly adjusted to fit the coupon action. In the end, the value for money was not what we expected.Service in the restaurant was very friendly and professional, however the kitchen "forgot" our order which we only found out after having waited some 40 minutes for our soup starter. The waitresses went out of their way to apologize and offered us a coffee on the house after dinner to make up for it.In the end, this was a reasonable experience but I'd like to go back one more time to see whether the regular menu would be different and the wait was acceptable.

Did not want to cook so looked for a place to eat. Called and they were able to seat us within 20 minutes. Restaurant was busy. Had to wait a little bit for the waitress but once we ordered everything went smoothly. Small menu but I guess they focus on quality rather than quantity. Had a great meal and will definitely be back. Thank you very much for your kind review!

Did you ever had Haggis, smoked salmon, scotts egg and feeled in heaven. This restaurant give you that feeling. Provided with a whisky advice of a walking whisky encyclopedia in the form of the owner, you would immediately emigrate to Schotland.Thank God we have this restaurant in Holland !
