We visited the Nostos restaurant a couple of times during our stay in Bali, and unanimously agreed it was the best. First of all, the interior looks really good, there are super comfy seats and the view is brilliant. Additionally, the food is delicious and truly distinctive from other restaurants. There are some Greek dishes on the menu, but there is plenty of choice for other dishes (I'd say more culinary, see pictures). The prices of the main dishes are around 15 euros. Although this is slightly more expensive than the average 'tavern' in Bali, we think it is more than worth it!

Where to begin with this restaurant...We were excited upon arriving here as the views were to die for and it had a friendly, traditional feel to the decor.However it soon became apparent that the staff had no training in customer service. The waiter was unhelpful and his snide attitude was off-putting from the get go. They did not have the meal I had firstly requested and he stared me down until I hastily made another decision. This made me feel rushed and very uncomfortable.When the food arrived it was bland and tasteless anyway. (That goes for both mine and my friendâs meals) I am not one to waste food so I fed most of my mine to the local cats sitting under my table who were probably the one redeeming thing about this establishment. I was really disappointed with this experience as I had been having a good day up until that point and wanted to end it on a high. Also I found that the layout of the restaurant was very unorganised and unprofessional. The grubby toilets are located outside of the restaurant down what looks like an alley and we were ushered into a separate office to pay by card which all felt a little sketchy. I would not recommend eating here at all. Enjoy the sea view as you walk past but donât bother stopping.

Hot and tired on our first day in Crete we chose here at random and were very happy. Portion size generous (we ordered too many chips) and great calamari. Pretty spot overlooking the harbour good for people watching. Cool out of the sun.

Delicious traditional food! This restaurant is run by Stelios, his wife and his brother. The sweet daughters complete the super friendly staff. They use local and seasonal products. We had tried different dishes and everything was fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back soon. ÎÏ ÏαÏιÏÏÏ ÏολÏ....

Location is fantastic with a lovely view.Open aired with different seating areas.Good extensive menu.Reasonably priced food & drink.We both had the pork schnitzel , it comes with chips, lemon, tzatziki and salad garnish, a generous serving, beautifully cooked schnitzel , my chips could have been a little warmer.The beer was nice & cold, so was the wine.Bread is served with every meal, they finish with watermelon.

The best things about this restaurant are itâs wonderful position, overlooking a small, sandy cove, and itâs stylish âbeachâ decor. Although the service was good, the food was not very good. We had mixed veg, which was ok, spare ribs, which were very meaty but lacking in taste and my gyros was just about ok. I would go back here, but I would not be looking forward to the food on offer.

We welcome you to Bali and to "KARAVOSTASI" Beach. The small bay directly to the side of you, has the same name, was used in Minoan times as a neosoikos which translates to English as boat repair. One part of this was covered and served as an area of rest

We visited the beach on many occasions and each time enjoyed the hospitality of this warm and friendly taverna. The menu is like many other Tarvernas, but we always had a tasty meal, with ample portions and at a good price. Definitely a great place to relax and chill.

Every time we visit Galini, we enjoy our meals. Babis always makes us feel welcome. The traditional Greek food is delicious. My favourite is meatballs, but we have never been disappointed in our choice. Portion sizes are very generous. Well worth a visit!

It looks different than it's neighbours and that is GOOD!Its street food , at a great Price you get a solid and delicious meal. It's certainly not as "cosy" as the other tavernas but the price and quality show that they know what they are! A small,fast and delicious streetfood kitchen !!
