The restaurant is right in the center of Bad Staffelstein next to the city tower. Very nice 'old-style' atmosphere. Service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious in a kind of 'home-made' style - I can highly recommend the grilled trout served with horseradish, potatoes and salad. Everything was ultra fresh and crispy. Great value for money,

When we were in Bad Staffelstein we wanted to visit a typical German restaurant and we came across this one. It was a perfect choice - the food was amazing and so were the people and the atmosphere! If we ever go to Bad Staffelstein again, we will surely eat here :)

Two of us each had a pasta dish: the first was the Spaghetti Bolognaise, and the second was Gnocchi Gorgonzola. Each was excellent. Additionally, the place has a good ambience, seems well-patronized by locals, and has exemplary service. If you are up for it, the Tiramisu is delicious! Total bill, with two beers, was about â¬25, which we thought was good value

There is a restaurant, quite big in fact, in this hotel.We went there one evening and found ourselves alone.Waitress friendly, but did not really understand German, she made a few mistakes in the orders.The choice of food is ok, all typcial German with some "specialties".Overall ok, but just a little too simple, nothing worthwile mentionningVery cheap
