Though Agrigento is a modern city of about 60,000 on Sicily’s southwest coast, the majority of visitors come to experience the past just outside of town. At the Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Templi), citizens of the then-major Greek colony of Akragras began building seven Doric style holy monuments in the sixth century BC. The nearby Archaeological Museum helps put everything into context. Agrigento also has some fascinating sights in its old town, like the medieval Norman cathedral.

The other night we had dinner here and found it to be really nice. The house wine was lovely and the wait staff was kind and understanding about our poor Italian language skills. The eggplant caponata was delicious and we enjoyed our mains of scampi and porcini mushroom pasta. Loved their little dog Camilla, and there was a nice breeze too.

This place was such a find in Agrigento. Fabrizio built this beautiful restaurant and him personally served our table. He treated us so well, and the menu was hard to choose from. The food was divine. If youâre looking for good portions, high quality and great price this is the place to go. Loved everything and highly recommend!

the restaurant is recommended by a local. itâs located at via atenea, a main street of agrigento. itâs pretty modern in decor and looks pretty high end. Price is reasonable though. Pasta and pizza are both delicious. Fried mixed seafood is fresh and crispy. Aubergine ala sicilian is good. Overall a great meal at good price. itâs indeed a good recommendation.

We expected a decent restaurant, based on the photos and reviews, but it's just a street food kitchen with 4 tables in front.I start by saying that I haven't included my business in the category of restaurants. Evidently Trip Advisor doesn't consider specific differences between varied culinary businesses. Personally, I especially aim at making the customer discover the culinary tradition of Agrigento, particularly if he is a tourist, by selling simple dishes, maybe without precious pieces of cutlery, and I also admit that 4/5 tables under a gazebo don't represent the best of culinary businesses, but at the same time I let my customers to feel welcomed, like in a family (most of past reviews prove my statement). So I admit without any problems that my customers will find a completely spartan "small place", both outside and inside. Thus, I necessarily have to make you note that we aren't a Street Food, as we don't sell traditional Street Food's products. Just look at our menù: you'll see lots of salads, fruit salads, local dishes and so on, all foods that don't have the qualities of a Street Food at all. By the way, thank you for your review: even the bad ones are useful in order to improve ourselves.
