Various amazing dumplings with awesome sauces, good wine and really nice, friendly, funny service team. We had vegetarian dumplings (quinoa with curry vegetables and spinach-potato dumpling with nut crumbs and tomato sauce) - awesome. Da das Restaurant im Hotel Hutter Ruhetag hatte fragten wir an der Rezeption nach einem Heurigen in fuÃläufiger Nähe und bekamen den Donnemiller empfohlen, ein sehr guter Tipp! Netter kleiner Gastgarten mit sehr guten typischen Heurigen-Gerichten aus eigener Herstellung. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend!

Netter Empfang und freundliche Bedienung In diesem Familienbetrieb. Die angebotenen Speisen sind etwas ausgefallener als normal üblich in einer Buschenschank und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Weine haben den gewohnten. hohen Standard dieser Gegend. Die Preise sind moderat.

After choosing this restaurant from the Gault Millau guide we trusted the rating 17/20...Already the welcome and food basket was terrible... bread from the supermarket and a little cold meat, smashed on a plate...17 points???Then the corses, tasteless, unedible meat and decorated on our lates in the style of McDonalds...Altough we spent far over 1000 Euros on wine, the sommelier refused to attend... he had a great time with a table of his buddies..Several times we needed to fill our glasses...17 points???The only highlight was the senior owner, a man with a lot of knowledge of the regional history... but we wanted to enjoy a gourmet meal with friends from NYC... not a tour in history...17 points??? Not even 15... We saw 6 of Austrias 17 point restaurants over the last 10 days...Every single one was 100 times better then this...Leave alone the Steirereck in Vienna, where the meal is only 25 Euros more and you are in gourmet heaven...Safe your calories or drive 70 km to Vienna..Such a disappointment....

We had the incredible honor of having our wedding reception at Nikolaihof. The whole planning process went super smooth thanks to the highly experienced staff in the back office. Everything was super transparent and we got friendly answers to our 1000 questions. The evening itself was absolutely magic. We were greeted in the lovely courtyard by the senior owner, Frau Saahs. She gave us a tour through the wine cellar and showed our guests the press. The whole winery is just so exceptional and stands out among the hundreds others in Austria. The food exceeded our expectations. I never had a better meal in my life and I don't say that just because it was my wedding day ;) They employ highly experienced staff, that create exceptional dishes, which satisfy meat eaters and vegetarians alike. We had one person with allergies and she was so well taken care of by the staff. All of them were so amazing. I liked the risotto the best but seriously, every dish was just so good. The wines are some of the best in the world and the whole ethics behind the winery is just mindblowing. The family-run business deserves all the praise, they are a bunch of very hard working people and the efforts totally show off as we had a simply fantastic evening with our friends and family.
