Na een forse wandeling zijn we bij 't Hofke gaan eten. Op de kaart stond kleine hapjes, maar ze zijn toch behoorlijk groot. De gerechten zijn prima. Het is wel geen culinaire top, maar een goede kwaliteit zeker na zo'n wandeling.We begonnen met resp. carpaccio en een kippenragoutbakje. Beide waren goed. de kippenragout relatief groot en misschien een beetje te zout.Vervolgens een lekker stoofpotje met frites en een aardappelgratin. Ook dit was best groot, maar het stoofpotje was niet verfijnd, maar gewoon lekker.Het dessert voor beiden was prima. De sabayon was weliswaar niet echt sabayon, maar werd een heerlijke kaneelsaus.De bediening was vriendelijk en goed. De huiswijn was prima.Kortom: een prima restaurant zeker voor de prijs.

I dined here when staying in the BW hotel next to it. They have a seasonal menu (not sure why end march they presented the winter menu, but ok), but also a la carte choices.I went for the forest mushroomsoup. This was excellent. After that I took the mixed grill. The waitress asked me how I wanted my steak. I told here, "bien cuit". She never heard of such a way to cook meat. A bit strange for an international hotel.I also asked for pepper sauce. Sadly, this was not a sauce but had some kind of painty texture. Nevertheless, the meat was cooked excellent after all and the salad next to it was accompaying it very well.And, a very big +, finally, a duch chef who did not serve some kind of pinapple, kiwi, melon or orange on his main dish. Thank you !

Since I had dinner here several times, itâs time to write a small review. Food and service is excellent at an affordable price. This family owned restaurant is part of one of a largest, modern equine centers in europe and if youâre lucky you can witness an international or national horse event, dressage or show jumping. I mostly order pasta here just because I love it. They varying quite often the menus so itâs a pleasure to visit. There is a play ground for kids and if you wish they can have there first horse experience here.
