I stayed in the apartment they have in this small quiet place and it really is a hidden gem. So cheap to stay in and the food was 10/10. Quite a distance from Bratislava itself but Marianka is what you'd describe as a hidden gem. The people who own the place were very kind and helpful too

We went for the garlic soup which was delicious. The place is huge many floors, many locals dining which was a good sign. Waiter spoke English, not super attentive but fine. Worth visiting. Prices where fine.

Restaurant is located deeply in communist built Dubravka neighbourhood. For the first visit rather use GPS. Or ask locals because among the, everybody knows it. Menu remains almost unchanged for dozen of years. Excellent beer including "cutted" ("rezane" in Slovak) mixed from stout and pilsener. If you have any special willing, just ask the owner - Mr Sramek - who will prepare it for you.
