I can not recommend this place. I know, do not eat pizza anywhere else than in Italy, many would say...All food was cold even the Pizzas. We did complain, and to be a bit fair, we got a new portion -but the same again. The head Chef was terrible I do not think he ever learned cooking. So no we will never ever come back here again.

Maybe we hit a very off night but very poor experience here. Service is shocking and food is solid at best. Asked to see tasting menu 3 times with no joy, then finally got it and first course arrived a moment later even though we hadnât ordered yet! Local fizz was strange and served warm (but in ice bucket), still water was sparkling, took ages to get the bill. Restaurant was half full (see, Iâm a positive person!) on a Friday night and easy to see why.

The restaurant is very nice. Eventhough it is not cheap, it's absolutely worth it. I have visited KUBU few times and always had very tasty food and positive experience. The staff is also mostly nice, pays attention to customers.

My review is based on three visits in this restaurant. First impression is some renovated 80th building, but interior is nice and well decorated, with separated part for private meetings and small playground for children. Dishes are tasty but sometimes not hot enough. Some dishes are really of smaller size than you await. If you compare with other restaurants in Bratislava, dishes are quite average, prices are higher, some sauces and grilled meals are better than others. However, the waiters made our visits memorable - first one for terminating our dinner after 2 hours without prior notice ("we have other guests waiting") and second one with bringing more meals than ordered (plus one extra, which we did not ordered but had to pay for it!). Parking lot is small and driveway really narrow - mostly because guests try to park their cars in limited space.

Dinner for my wife and local friends took us again to Restaurant Zorno. We weren't disappointed, new on the menu Nile Perch was expertly paired with puréed potato and spinach with hint of garlic topped off with crispy baked shredded carrot. I stayed in the apartment they have in this small quiet place and it really is a hidden gem. So cheap to stay in and the food was 10/10. Quite a distance from Bratislava itself but Marianka is what you'd describe as a hidden gem. The people who own the place were very kind and helpful too

We had Salmon, Szeggediner Goulash and Gnocchi Gorgonzola. It was all well done and very price-worth. Service-personell does not speak English, but have an Englisch menu card.

We had a late lunch here and we tried their pizza with mozzeralla di bufala. It was really good, well prepared with delicious tomato sauce and with light pasta. The service was also good, friendly and quite fast. The pizzaiolo was coming from Naples. We liked this place.
