Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is lovely. First experience where you have to insert your room key to get the lights on! The restaurant is also lovely. Terrific breakfast. I was really missing scrambled eggs and was so happy to see some on the buffet! It also had standard European breakfast fair.

we had Lunch on a sunny day on the roof-top restaurant Skajo.... ( September 24, 2018 ) you take the elevator up to the restaurant, clearly marked, walk up a few steps and voila you have reached the open-air terrace with a great view over to the Freiburg Muenster ( you have a front row seat ) and in the distance the Martinstor...check out my photos...This is a very busy place, the service was efficient and the waitress took good care of us. We selected a delicious Salad ( see photo ) which tasted very good. I returned after five PM and the Cocktail crowd was in attendance, again very busy, and I was able to take some good photos from the terrace. We highly recommend you pay a visit to " Restaurant Skajo " and have a very pleasant experience.Dear Erfurt,we are very happy that you have enjoyed your stay(s) at our place! This small restaurant does everything well. We have been many times now and have never been disappointed by a single dish. Overall the approach is sophisticated but at the same time warm and hospitable. Their standards are exceptionally high. Should appeal to foodies as well as those celebrating a special occasion.
