We were here for dinner, having been here several times before. The food was very good and there is a good atmosphere. There is plenty of choices, although we both chose chicken and mushrooms with boiled rice and had soft drinks. Our total bill was 27 pounds 30. This was for the one course each but the portion sizes were good.

Really enjoyable visit and dining experience, from the hospitality on entry to the entire dining experience. Food was bloody brilliant, to put it bluntly! Chicken Satay was pretty brilliant, I'd definitely recommend it! It might be quite auspicious from the outside but the food speaks louder volumes than the location does... I'm hungry again, is it too soon to go back!

Was so looking forward to lunch wow worst food ever cream of chicken soup all I could taste was cornflour then main roast spring chicken yuk was half s chicken breast tasted as if it had been boiled days ago husband got beef curry he had to leave all the beef as couldnât be chewed yuk last visit ever

Ideal for a special occasion just like we had. 30 people discovering cousins they didn't know they had and enjoying the night with great food and such a variety too. there was a karaoke machine and it got people letting their hair down and enjoying themselves. A great place to have a party, a special room and great food.

I use the Jade House fairly regularly. Initially I wondered whether or not it was helpful to give numerous reviews for the same establishment. Verdict: yes - it demonstrates the on-going quality (or lack of it) for an establishment. I've been using the Jade House for upwards of 20 years now; if anything the quality has improved. Food is really pretty good and the service is excellent. Premises advertise an opening hour of 4 pm. A few weeks ago I popped in just after 3 pm (Sign showed 'closed' but door - as is usual -was 'open'). Asked how long it would be for a particular meal. Nice Chinese gent said "Come back in 10 minutes." I did, and was suitably rewarded. one member of staff now recognises me and greets me by name. If you like Chinese you'll like Jade House!

Visited today. Chips soggy and chicken chewy. Complained and they said it was because it wasnt busy?? Staff could not care less and do not value their customers. Wont visit again.

Went for Sunday lunch and it was a disaster..takes around 35-40 minutes between courses which is shocking considering there was hardly anyone in there. Food was average at best and so cold in there. Staff were pretty hopeless too. Steer clear of this place folks

Used this take away for the first time this weekend. Had been recommended tom us by a friend. On the whole it was pretty good, the main wet part of the dish ( chicken with sweetcorn ) was really nice. The only thing that let it down slightly for me was the fried rice. This was very dark and quite dry. I had to mix it together and leave a few minutes to give it some moisture
