We had lunch at the waldbichl which was the destination of the daily hiking trip. The food was good and we had a nice snaps which is a speciality up here. I would go again.

Wonderful location, light and tasty dishes. Great olive oil and wines. Pasta delicious. The setting on the garden terrace is what we always like. The service is very qualified and the wines are served from nice glassware. Always back.

We came for dinner to this freshly renovated restaurant in brewery style in the heart of Lana. Modern interior and good Bavarian kitchen and beer The place to be if you prefer Southern German lifestyle, especially during summer at the outside beergarten. All service personnel was very friendly and attentive. Food came in very large portions and tasted excellent. Is this a helpful review? We ate here in late summer and sat outside in the beautiful gardens. The food is innovative Italian cuisine which has obviously been prepared with care and thought using the best ingredients. We started out with a chickpea soup and grilled peppers and followed with crespelle (like crêpes) made from chestnut flour and stuffed with pumpkin and ricotta. The wine selection is good with lots of local choices. The service was rather slow but that wasn't much of a problem as we were relaxing in the beautiful surroundings!

Well, who would not be impressed with the view from this great restaurant. Merano and its surrounding mountains seem to be at your feet. We eat on the sun kissed Terrence enjoying a lovely early autumn lunch.Our food was delicate and very tasty. I had the troffiette with mushrooms and cheese and my partner the pasta with veal ragout and truffles. The Apfestrudel desert with homemade vanilla ice cream was lovely too. Great wine selection by the glass. It is not a cheap eat, but it is well worth it.

I took my parents there for their 56th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very nice (I would avoid eating in the "stube"), very typical Tyrolean. The service was extraordinary and the food exceptional. I actually found it difficult to choose just one starter, one main course and one desert. The wine recommended was perfect and it was one of the more reasonably priced one. Book well in advance
