GUSTORIA

Being forced to wait on a photographer for some photos, we popped over to the nearby square and found Gustoria. It's a nice little place to spend a bit of time - they have VERY nice ice cream (with good-sized scoops by Polish standards and they'll give you a sample if you aren't sure which flavour) as well as a very good Vienna coffee (with great gobs of whipped cream), something you don't often find in Poland (usually we have to go to Czech for our Vienna coffee.) Not being a big devotee of coffee with milk (plenty of choice for those that do), this is a place I'll certainly visit again just for that gorgeous whipped cream! If you're on the city square, do drop in - great ice cream and Illy coffee at reasonable prices, all in one place - what else could anyone want?

Garden tables are amazing for summer family lunch. We especially like this restaurant during sunny weekends. Food is good enough for three generations family. Service was very good and we had a great time at Radiowa Restaurant.

If Starka is full or closed you can come over here. Also great local food prepared in a traditional way and tasty meat. The wine amateur won't be spoiled as Poland is, in general, not the best place to taste wine. That being said you'll find some OK wine. Also you can go for good beer.

We visiting not knowing what to expect, once inside we were presented with an English menu and realised it was mainly pancakes. We had soup for starters and then tagliatelle made from pancakes with salmon and chicken and spinach pancakes. Prices were reasonable and there was a queue out of the door.

I've eaten here twice now and both times had excellent food. It's not quite 'haute cuisine' but very good traditional Polish dishes. I can highly recommend the tartare! We did struggle a bit though as our group was all non-Polish speakers and both the menu as well as the staff were pretty much Polish speaking only. With a little help from google translate and a very hard trying waiter we managed okay though.Go if you want to try really good quality traditional Polish food in a really nice modern restaurant.Don't go if you really don't speak any Polish.

Nice place for meeting in summer days with a friends. They have the movie evening where you can relax, drink and watch the movie outdoor on large screen. Great idea. The food is ok, shrimps with lemon and nudels is very nice if you like exotic cusine. The cakes can be better, they are just average. What bothers me is the staff. And that is not comment regarding one person bur more on less overall attitude. It's rather expenive plce so I would expect more care about the customers. What I'm missing recently is the Raciborz beer that I like a lot. Please bring Raciborz back!

But besides the nice view over the river and a stupid Joke with the coffee doesn’t stick anything in my mind After 1 week.
