After some very bad experience in Opole, this place felt like oasis. Like the name Venezia says, the restaurant has something to do with water. It is located on the riverbank and they have a floating terrace. Nice views anyway. This was no gastronomical great journey. Food was rather average. Because we were hungry we enjoyed what we had - nice soup, pasta with meet and a desert. Not hungry any more. Most of the points comes for the view and relief.

This 'Milk Bar' is a staple in any Polish city. The quality of Polish snack food here is outstanding. Great pierogi and soups are available at a price of a sandwich you can fill yourself up and insulate yourself against the Polish winter. The only problem with the place is getting a seat, such is the popularity.

If Starka is full or closed you can come over here. Also great local food prepared in a traditional way and tasty meat. The wine amateur won't be spoiled as Poland is, in general, not the best place to taste wine. That being said you'll find some OK wine. Also you can go for good beer.

We visiting not knowing what to expect, once inside we were presented with an English menu and realised it was mainly pancakes. We had soup for starters and then tagliatelle made from pancakes with salmon and chicken and spinach pancakes. Prices were reasonable and there was a queue out of the door.

My husband and I made last minute reservations to eat here the night before New Years Eve. So glad we got a table, because the food and atmosphere were so nice! The only bad thing was something the restaurant couldn't control; a huge family group had several tables behind us and the parents were letting the kids run around and act like little jerks. Things improved a ton once they left.We split three starters- the grilled vegetables (best I've ever had in my life), focaccia (shaped like a pizza and very fresh and large), and the salmon tartare (delicious). For mains, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara (good but nothing special) and my husband ordered tiger prawns (he raved about them). We also split dessert, but I could have eaten it by myself. It was the Semifreddo, cinnamon ice cream with strawberry sauce... so good and a modest portion. The service here was excellent and the prices were even better. We ordered all of that food, a carafe of wine, a beer, a water, and juice for less than 50€. We've been to Italy several times and this place rivals a lot of the places we visited there. I've been coming to Opole for years, and am sad that we only discovered this place now! Can't wait to go back and try some more items from the large menu.

I've eaten here twice now and both times had excellent food. It's not quite 'haute cuisine' but very good traditional Polish dishes. I can highly recommend the tartare! We did struggle a bit though as our group was all non-Polish speakers and both the menu as well as the staff were pretty much Polish speaking only. With a little help from google translate and a very hard trying waiter we managed okay though.Go if you want to try really good quality traditional Polish food in a really nice modern restaurant.Don't go if you really don't speak any Polish.

Nice place for meeting in summer days with a friends. They have the movie evening where you can relax, drink and watch the movie outdoor on large screen. Great idea. The food is ok, shrimps with lemon and nudels is very nice if you like exotic cusine. The cakes can be better, they are just average. What bothers me is the staff. And that is not comment regarding one person bur more on less overall attitude. It's rather expenive plce so I would expect more care about the customers. What I'm missing recently is the Raciborz beer that I like a lot. Please bring Raciborz back!
