I am sure that they have fish and vegetarian options but the reason to go here is meat and plenty of it! For 5 we paid 200 euro with tip for a wonderful meat feast with wine, which represents great value. The portions are large and I heartily recommend the mixed grill.

Is it a restaurant or a bar? Not really sure but the food is great. Atmosphere is like a British pub almost but you are definitely in Germany. Service friendly and the food was very tasty. Worth a visit if you are in town.

We had a couple of delicious evening meals at Thiesmann's restaurant when we stayed at the Hotel Thiesmann. The bistro style restaurant is very stylish, with a limited menu but the food was delicious, very nicely cooked and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent, helpful and friendly.

So there were two problems with this restaurant: the location, in a garden centre which for, a reasonably expensive restaurant, I found it bizarre that a glass door separates you from people choosing their garden furniture. Secondly the service was poor! We booked for a celebration, to which we invited 15 people, so you would reasonably expect that they were prepared to cater for our party and other guests, basically they didn't. I will not dwell on their failure in this department, but it was disappointing!The positive is that the restaurant itself is well presented and cosy, the staff were friendly enough and the food was good!

in the old part of town adjacent to the old church this Tudor style building with several floors and wooden beams is stunning, I believe it was built in the 16th century and has been beautifully renovated, the food is lovely the waitresses very polite helpful and service with a smile and great German Alt beer.

first thing first, the restaurant takes a little to find but it's located at a cozy spot in the midst of the neighbourhood. our dinner was splendid and i enjoyed my scallops very much, the cheese and PORT WINE WAS AMAZING! i also enjoyed the homey feeling the restaurant has. all in all we thoroughly enjoyed it very much!
