There Pizza is the best in town, it's more of a take out, or delivery. Hands down best prices and taste, way better than Boston Pizza.

My husband ordered the "special" which was a Hawaiian burger. It came with mystery jam and some pineapple chunks and they charged $18 for it. Not an $18 burger, believe me. My turkey clubhouse was good, however the small pieces of turkey kept falling out and I ended up eating them separately from the sandwich. Usually a clubhouse has larger pieces of turkey and it's easier to eat. The poutine which was a $3 upgrade was nothing special - in fact it wasn't authentic poutine due to the shredded cheddar cheese and clearly being microwaved or put under a broiler or something. One of the servers working there had a couple of kids running around - one time they came out swinging a pool noodle around. Another time one kid parked herself in the middle of the floor with an armload of toys. Just before we left, one kid climbed on the back of the seat of the booth we were seated at to "ride" it like a pony. Seriously? The old time diner vibe was there, but I wouldn't recommend this place. The only shining star was our server, Stacey. Way too expensive, food was just ok, and the worker's children disrupting our (and everybody else eating there) meals warrants an "AVOID THIS PLACE" rating.(PS, the actual name of this place is Oldscool Diner. Not Old School Diner)

We stopped for a quick lunch while passing through on a road trip. The soups and sandwiches were very good, service was efficient, restrooms were clean and we would certainly stop again if we had the chance.

Dropped in for a business lunch. Ordered cheeseburgers, fries, and coffee. The fires were hot. The burger at $16 was a big disappointment. Alberta restaurants need to get away from ordering pre-made burger patties from a commercial supplier. You get the same dull "it could be meat" taste. What a disappointment. I'd like this place to get better and a house-made pattie would go a long way to having taste meet price. Service was very good.

We used to get Perry's pizza while living in Vegreville for years. Once we left to Edmonton, couldn't find anything even close to it here so we travel to Veg when one of us has the urge. Don't know what it is about the pizza, but they're very generous with the topping and the cheese is yummy. We travel to Veg just to get pizza whenever we're in the mood. Yes, it's that good! Staff is always great too.

We decided to try Leonel's based on other ratings. There was only one other guest when we arrived, and no other diners arrived while we were there. The server was helpful and friendly. The special was veal parmigiana, but came with 2 small lumps of mashed potatoes and gravy - usually parmigiana is served with spaghetti or other pasta - and a very small serving of vegetables that looked worse for wear. Three small shrivelled carrots and two pieces of skinny cauliflower, plus a third piece of something we had to ask the server to identify. It was a stem piece of cauliflower with the leaves still attached and overcooked. Yucko. Also, the texture of the veal was not normal - it seemed to be preformed ground meat. She had told us the special came with garlic toast, but we could hear her and the cook arguing in the kitchen about it. Finally she returned with one slice of garlic toast. Also, the special included the soup of the day, which was supposedly French onion, but we've never had onion soup with cheddar cheese and carrots in it! The portions of the food were very small, likely catering to the primarily senior clientele, but should be noted as such. I had the monte cristo sandwich which was not bad. I ordered gravy with the fries, and it was so bland as to be nothing special to add to the meal. The beer was good and cold, although they did not have the first choice in stock. The front area was very cluttered, and the TV was quite loud, which made conversation a bit challenging, too.We are sorry about your poor experience with us. Our server usually describes our veal cutlet to a new customer; as a matter of fact, it is ground veal. We do tend to take some liberties with our daily specials, therefore that day we were serving our veal parmigiana with homemade mashed potatoes instead of the usual pasta. As you stated, we cater to a "senior clientele" (and others) who prefer to add salt and pepper to their food instead of having to complain that it is too salty or spicy. We usually have the TV on for our customers to enjoy, but we are always ready to accommodate our guests by lowering the volume or even turning it off, if requested. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you, if you were to return to Vegreville.

Unbelievably the service gets worse each time I come here. I travel for work, and come to Vegreville 6-8 times per year. This BP is close to my hotel. The beer is cold, and the wings were not bad. But the service in the lounge is abhorrent. Tonight’s bartender Melissa G was one of the worst I’ve had. Basically got the “what do you want?” As I sat down. Ordered some wings and a beer. She dropped off the beer and someone else brought the wings 20 minutes later. That’s the last I saw of her until she brought the bill. I sat with an empty beer for half an hour, then left. It wasn’t busy. She spent most of the time cleaning up and clearly wishing the night would end. It must be hard to find good servers in this town, or the managers must be terrible to work for, because this place has some of the worst service I’ve received in North America. I travel extensively, and eat in restaurants 5 or more night per week, so I have some pretty vast experience with servers, and this place stinks. Because I’m not as much of a jerk as the bartenders here, I still left a 7% tip. I should have left nothing, but can’t bring myself to the same level as she deserved. I’m sorry you hate your job. You’re customers hate being served by you as well. What a lousy way to spend an evening Hi, there. Sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the service you received. We take this feedback very seriously and would like to follow up with the team involved. Please share the details info at https://bostonpizza.com/contact-us.html so that we can make it better! Thanks.
