The immediate area is quite dilapidated and we weren't expecting much for lunch from the restaurant. However the waiter was very friendly and spoke great English. He said that they specialise in fish and meat and he showed us what was good on the menu. There was so much food. The bill came to just 25 euros - incredible value for what we ate and drank (0.5L wine). The waiter saw we were cycling back and handed us two free bottles of water to put on out bikes. Very kind. Doesn't accept card payments.Does accept euros.

A beautiful place in the city center, with a great open space.Very nice attentive staff and various menu with tasty traditional foods, even a rich wines menu, Albanian and foreign ones.What is more, prices are very cheap, so I really suggest this restaurant!

After our return from Croatia and Montenegro, here in Shkodra, Albania, our stomachs saw good food. The dishes are full here and the bread is plentiful. Baked bread with olive oil on top. A Peroni 33cl beer here is only 1.20 euros! We ordered store specialties. Crap in the oven cooked with vegetables and eel fish in the tile which was still roasted when we brought it to the table. 9 euros and 10 euros respectively. Full plate with bruschetta with tomatoes and cheese on top and with tuna and mayonnaise. The prices here are fantastic. the service is very good and the child who served us willing to explain everything with a smile. Thanks, we will be back here soon. And in the end we ate fruit, very kind to them. in Croatia and Montenegro no coffee from the restaurant!

The wait person is very helpful and communicative. We have ordered 2 sweet toast - Rosti I Shtepise (jam and honey toast) and Ngjyra (black chocolate chips banana and peanut butter toast). They are freshly made and very nice. Coffee is strong. Decor is nice with good background music.

Actually stopped over for desserts late in the evening, and it was all worth it. I think you can order anything from the menu and be pleasantly surprised and impressed. The portions are actually large so think well if you are there after a big dinner. Next time I would split a dessert. Visit and enjoy the place. Great service.

A week into my travels around Albania and I can honestly state that this is the best food I've eaten in this country. Sure, it's nothing flash or fancy, it's simply good and honest food. I had goulash, grilled vegetables and a Greek salad and all three dishes were superb and hit the target. The price was ridiculously low for a meal of this quality so it was absolutely value for money. The service was genuine, friendly and faultless. I'm a lucky man as I'll be in Shkodra again soon so can eat here again. If in town I suggest you give this place a visit... you won't be disappointed.

They played loud rock music in the morning. Definitely not for breakfast time. And thereâre poor girls coming inside to the cafe and asked me some coins so I helped her. After the girls left, the owner of the cafe complained to me with very rude attitude in unpleasant way. I feel so bad because he saw all the situation that girls were bagging and he didnât stop them even say nothing to them, but to their client. Very strange experience I ever had!!! Food also served as poor quality. Thank you for expressing your opinion and for providing feedback. We are sorry you did not enjoy the food and interpreted the situation as "complaining" to the client, that was not our intention. As you expressed your opinion here, we were simply expressing our opinion to you in person. If you do not agree that's ok!
