This is located not too far from the Mirabellegarten. Which is just across the river from Mozart's birthplace. We had a very nice leisurely lunch there. Excellent food with a light and modern touch. Atmosphere is similar - modern. Extensive wine list and if you aren't familiar with these, then ask your wait staff, the lady who served us mede good suggestions.Dear valued guests,It is excellent to hear that you liked your lunch at our hotel very much. Eine Einkehr, nach der Wanderung von Oberndorf nach Laufen, ist für uns immer eine Pflicht. Es gibt eine super Tortenauswahl oder tolle Eisbecher. Auch für den kleinen Hunger gibt es eine groÃe Auswahl. Die Lage ist super und es gibt Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen als auch im Freien. Am Vormittag sehr sonnig. Wirklich ein sehr schönes Lokal.

I went here with my Mum and my husband, it is immediately charming when you step in the door. It was about 5:30 pm in the middle of winter and was warm inside and full of people. We sat upstairs and our waitress was so friendly and lovely - my husband doesn't speak German but she managed to get across which beer was best without me or my Mum helping any! The meat dishes that we ordered looked amazing (I'm vegetarian), although the meat that came in specialty of the house, the Pfandl, was a bit dry. Portions were very big! My vegetarian option of vegetables with potato cakes (like hash browns) and sour cream was ok, some of the vegetables were out of a frozen packet (understandable in the middle of winter), and a bit rubbery. Honestly I would have preferred some 'in season' vegetables - cabbage, winter salad, beetroot... there are enough I think!This place is just down the road from where my Mum lives so we will definitely be back...I hear the cakes are amazing!

Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Essen (Kalbsleber, Schnitzel, Nocken,...) alles zu empfehlen - das Personal macht dafür einen eher unmotivierten Eindruck... das passt nicht zum Essen und dem was man sein will.

I tried a steak from "fruhlings specials", it was with great chips, bacon, champignions, onion and sauce. I ordered a medium steak, was great. I was here with my friends, they tried a hamburger, but was little bit dry.The service was really nice.Info: if you don´t smoke and you really don´t like it, sit to another site of smoking area. There is a door, but it is not still closed.

When I pass nearby, I never make it without buying patry at Loidl's.Quality is super excellent and it is always more in the bag than I have planned. I recommend apricot and plum pie during early and late summer season. But everything available there is breathtaking. Very good for a typical Austrian breakfast.

Our second time here after a year, nothing have changed. I don't doubt the kitchen is good or the meal is great, average or nice, but service is slow, too crowded, we ordered for a Cappuccino and the had none, no Apfelstrudel, nothing. I don't know what they had because we left.
