Went there midweek for a couple of local wines. Server was very friendly and helpful explaining the wine list. Good selection of local wines. Dinks come with little snacks (chips,...). Can recommend the Polz "Therese". Also when beeing in Leibnitz good for any kind of cup of coffee after shopping.

Waren mit 8 Personen zum Frühstück angemeldet.Leider bekamen wir keinen Platz da alles überfüllt war.nWollten mit 8 Personen ( 09.30 Uhr Dienstag ) Frühstücken Leider trotz Voranmeldung keinen Platz bekommen. Auskunft sehr unpersönlich und mit einer Antwort " wir sollen gegen Mittag kommen ,da ist sicher etwas frei !!!!! Danke aber dieses Lokal ist für mehreren Personen nicht geeignet. Werden sicherlich nicht mehr erscheinen.

The Café Rosegger is right in the center of Leibnitz, a town half the way between Graz and Maribor, Slovenia. This Café is really nice and offers many of the Austrian desserts Austria is so famous for. Her you can get plenty of different tarts, cakes, all sorts of pastries and even the famous Temmel Ice Cream known all over Styria for its creamyness. Oh you donât want to miss this creamyness.You can sit in the nice inside or in the patio and experiencing the life of the main street promenade of Leibnitz. The staff is friendly and willing to help you translating the German menu. Here at Rosegger in Leibnitz you can truely experincing the life of the locals of Styria called Steirer right along enjoying your delicous pastry or tart and your creamy coffee or even your super-creamy Temmel Ice Cream, which is a true Styrian product with stores in LA and Istanbul for instance.From Leibnitz with love!Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

A really cute place to stop at on your bike ride or hike through the beautiful landscape. It is located right next to the Sulmtal Radweg (a beautiful bike lane along the river) and easy to find from both directions. The owner is the kindest host and serves delicious coffee from a small roaster in Vienna as well as home made pies. I did not try the breakfast yet but it sounds delicious. The few tables outside are a perfect spot in the sun to get some rest. Inside it smells like fresh coffee and pie, and you can marvel at some local artist's work on the walls or grab a magazine to read. It is just off the main road so a really quiet spot, the decorations are tasteful and underline the modern but homie feel of the place. An unusual place for the area, not quite as rustic and traditional. Just lovely!
