The taverna serves the best food in town. It is only open at night, so that means everything is prepared fresh. We had half a chicken done on a barbecue. It was the best meal we had eaten in the month that we spent in Greece. We sat outside under the stars. This taverna is very popular with the locals. That is a high recommendation in itself ! Highly recommendable as is Pension Zephyros on the seafront. The taverna is up the hill, opposite the church and periptero.

A cozy tavern with very warm people and amazingly nice food. A clean, well placed with good portions of traditional flavors and not only. Also very low prices. Went there during summer time were usually everything is more expensive, but not this place!Thank you very much for your kind words!!!

Don't understand a lot of the negative feedback but we had a very good lunch at Mitato during our stay in Nafplio. The gyros and souvlaki sandwiches were delicious and fresh. Service was acceptable and friendly in our minds. Very crowded when we ate there but the service did not suffer. One funny incident was with their cat who sleeps on any outside empty chair and who doesn't get off even when you lift the chair! A nice memory for us eating there.
