Steak was good, but nothing special. Choice of wines not great. Prices are a bit too high. The atmosphere is that of an average German Bierstube - the whole experience might have been better if they did something with the interior and the tables, at the moment it looks very boring and dated.

This is very much a locals restaurant as it is off the beaten track. We were turned away somewhat unceremoniously on the Wednesday when they had an all you can eat Ribs night which is obviously extremely popular. Tail between legs we then asked our hotel to book us a reservation for the following evening as not not have the same problem. We arrived and were promptly seated, it was nowhere near as busy as the all you can eat night but busy enough. The server spoke extremely good English and advised us that we had ordered way too much food and suggested we ditch the starters as there would be plenty of food with the mains. WOW, he was correct, our dinner was served on a massive wooden platter and was in huge portions of mixed ribs, chicken wings and fries. The food was very good and we all left extremely full and satisfied. Compliments to the server, he has a good sense of humour and is an asset to the restaurant.
