I highly recommend this restaurant if you are after genuine good local food. When they mean 0km, it's true. The food is all sourced incredibly locally and you can taste it.I would really recommend the fried polenta and the porcini tagliatelle. The portions are the perfect size so that you aren't stuffed to the point of not feeling well, but you are very satisfied.The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to recommend something from the menu. The service is fast and the waiters do not bother you constantly (pet peeve in restaurants!).The venue itself is really interesting and remarkable as they are old stables of the Dozza castle just infront.Thank you, it was a pleasure for us to serve you.A heartfelt thanks from all the staff.Daniele Preti

The seafood soup that my husband had looked and was incredible ! My daily pasta special was excellent also. Great, friendly service. House wine very good. This restaurant is really great! It's a place for locals so the food is well done. We had 2 servings of tortelloni stuffed with potatoes and topped with ragu, 2 glass of red wine, a medium beer, 2 side dishes of fried polenta and oven done potatoes. Plus 2 serving of crostini on the house as well as a .5L water. Everything came to 30 euros! We were blown away by the value for money, excellent! Highly recommend this place... oh, and I forgot to mention, we also took 1 small lemon sorbet...Good atmosphere, good waiters, great value for money.

Trattoria contadina, di tempi remoti, fa quasi tenerezza. Se si accetta la semplicità e la schiettezza rurale ci si trova bene, si spende poco e si apprezzano i genuini piatti del territorio.

Nella sua semplicità , di trattoria , devo assegnare 5 stelle: la migliore tagliata mangiata negli ultimi anni. Ottimi pure i cappellacci di ricotta - burro e salvia- come gustosa la polenta fritta.Dolci buoni e abbondanti. Servizio rapido e cortese e prezzo finale .... sorprendente.Da sottolineare la TAGLIATA. Verrò nuovamente, contarci.Bravi

This little restaurant, tucked away between two alleys in the old town of Verona, not far from the river Adige, is a gem. The service was prompt and friendly, the food good if not spectacular. As well as the courtyard/alleyway where we ate on a warm summers night, there is a beautiful dining room inside, which would be perfect for winter dining.

ottimo cibo, servizio cordialissimo, panorama stupendo, prezzi veramente buoni. Insomma se volete farvi un buon pasto in compagnia e fuori dal caos della vita urbana consigliatissimo!

Went here after I saw the recommendation on Anthony Bourdain's show. He was so right!This place is perfect! From magnificent service to food. Everything is top notch! I won't write you what should you try, because I'm sure that everything is great... Terrific wine list also. Priced very modestly for the quality on offer.If you happen to be in the area, by all means go!
