Drinks offered more ice than fruits. The servings are really plentifully served but neither the taste nor the quality are noticeable. The soups were good. The roasted vegetable sandwich consisted mainly of burnt onions. The service was very slow even though there were only four tables with customers. Interesting second hand bookstore in the front.

Don't believe any of their advertising signs out front for happy hour or drunk specials because you're probably being baited. We went here for a beer because they were advertising Victoria beer on a sign right outside their door for 9Q each. No fine print or asterisks or anything. We then go to pay and they were like 14Q each. Not a huge difference, but we were in a budget. We pointed out the error and were told the special was for the smaller Victoria beers, which I had never seen once in my 3 weeks in Guatemala (and after drinking lots of beer there), and which the server here never even offered us. The sign was very misleading. That's the only reason we even stopped there was because of their sign advertising 9Q Victorias. Be very skeptical of any special they advertise and ask many questions.

Gorgeous setting and wonderful food. My husband had steak which he rated very highly. My fish, with salad bar, was also really good. We loved the complementary consommé to start with and the service was excellent.

Apetito is a delicious local restaurant tucked into a beautiful courtyard. We partnered with them for a "give back" night for our local nonprofit, Niños de Guatemala, and the service and food for the night were excellent! Thank you to Apetito for supporting the local community and for providing great food and a relaxing atmosphere.

I was traveling with a small group staying at the Intercontinental Hotel. We would meet in the Mayan Lounge in the evenings. The staff works hard to ensure you have a relaxing experience. The young lady working the bar area, Iris, was very professional and goes out of her way to provide outstanding service. They generally have a band in the evenings and serve a great variety of food. Spending the evenings with co workers and other guest at the Mayan Lounge was one of the most memorable parts of that trip.Dear John M;We are grateful for taking your time and let it us know about your experience at Maya Lounge Bar. Reminds me of the great Texas style bbqâs from Austin. Pappyâs does it right. The brisket and the ribs are my favorite. My wife loves the pulled pork. It even has the Central Texas rustic, no frills charm. Aaah, and they have good imported and local handcrafted beer.

I was here for a repeat visit and it was just as delicious. It is the tiniest place. Make a reservation because you will need it. The menu is a little more extensive this year. If you sit upstairs be prepared to climb the stairs. But that is half the fun. Thanks for a great dinner!

The best quality of Cadejo is the atmosphere, open, expansive, cozy, but modern. It's a pleasure to just sit there and drink a beer.Beer prices are ok, happy hour deals are good.Food is what you would expect from bar food, nothing special, but nothing terrible. Limited vegetarian options.
