The restaurant is in a colonial typical house of Antigua Guatemala. The food is inspired by Belgian cuisine. The service is very good although they could improve the assembly and setting of their tables and cutlery. I recommend the carbonade flamande, really delicious! What I did not love was the tajine, I think there are other more interesting dishes on the menu. The place is nice, the attention of the staff is very good, and decoration has Belgium details. It is a good option to have lunch with friends or family. Prices per main course around $10 and $15.

Delighted to find this place..lovely rooftop terrace where I could indulge my love of crepes..just simple lemon and sugar..fabulous...and the lager was excellent and cold..spent a couple of happy afternoons here reading books abs catching up on WIFI..Friendly staff.

Excellent attentive service and wonderful food! Great ambiance. Ordered two starters, specials of the evening and two fabulous desserts. With a bottle of wine, bill came to 900 quetzals. Doesnât feel touristy at all. Menu in English and spanish. Would highly recommend!

Great food and great service in a nice cozy environment.We spent two weeks exploring Guatemala and visiting my mothers side of the family. We ate at a lot of nice restaurants but our dinner at Hectorâs Bistro was my favorite. I had the beef tenderloin medallions with the roasted tomatoes and it was excellent. The meat was extremely tender and flavorful and the sauce was great. My wife and kids also loved their food. I especially want to mention that they made accommodations for my younger daughter who just wanted pasta with butter (something that wasnât on the menu). To me that speaks highly of their service mentality. Weâll be sure to go back the next time we visit Antigua.

We last posted glowing reviews of Toscana several years ago, and are absolutely delighted that Toscana still continues to deliver top quality, gourmet homemade Italian food at an exceptional value, and with always impeccable and gracious service. After having several expensive and unsatisfying meals recently (during the summer of 2019) in Antigua, it was like coming home to enjoy such genuinely good food at Toscana. The restaurant owner, Claudio, and his maitre'de Ingrid continue to deliver a superb experience. If you are considering having an Italian meal in Antigua, there is nothing in Antigua that beats Toscana - it is on par with the finest Italian restaurants anywhere, globally. Run, don't walk, to come here!

You can absolutely count on the Italian brothers, Luca and Marcos, to fix you up a nice casual eating experience in their garden cafe. Aside from the croissants and espresso drinks, they serve a nice selection of European, American, and local Guatemalan breakfasts. They also serve great pastas for lunch. If you go for lunch on Monday, you will likely be entertained by a fabulous samba band. There are different musicians playing on some other days. And....by the way, you can also go to use their computer or printer, and purchase moves and tv shows from their huge library. Very nice locals work here as well. You can also purchase the incredible French bread and pastries to go. Thereâs no reason not to come here if youâre gonna spend any time in San Pedro.

Completely perfect! The place is peaceful and beautiful with an incredible view, very nice vibe.The food was incredibly delicious!!! I went there for lunch on saturday with my family and my two dogs. The service was great, the waiters were super friendly and nice. We had some hummus which was delicious and the best artichokes Iâve ever had in my life! We also ordered pasta, sababa fish, stuffed peppers and a chicken salad and it was all yummy and fresh â¥ï¸. We enjoyed Sababa and we will definitely go back (canât wait till next time).

Marvin, chef, was by himself on Saturday afternoon, completely welcomed me to the restaurant. Followed up with my broken Spanish, great conversation, great food and no nonsense atmosphere, I can see why this is the number 1 rated place on TA! Canât wait to come back!

This restaurant is a good option to taste the Italian food, it was a pleasant experience, to taste pasta with a Spanish wine, the combination is wonderful, the prices are fair, it is not cheap or expensive, it has an extensive wine list and Italian food , they have a menu only for stone flame oven, so it is recommended.
