This restaurant is a must go if you are in Norrköping. I highly recommend the fillet of beef on plank, the dish consists of many delicate ingredients and the beef accompanied by a wonderful gravy make an extremely tasteful combination. The Las Moras Malbec from Argentina went very well with the beef.

Excellent location next to the river and part of the Grand Hotel. Friendly service and offers a great choice of beers. Comfortable dining space with a good atmosphere. Food was good - wife and I had the fish and chips this time which was served with a nice crispy batter. Also had the burgers previously which were also very good. Knappingen (or Knäppingen) is a restaurant with their own micro brewery in the middle of Norrkoping's old industry quarters. The area has a special feel, lots of old buildings and history and is currently undergoing some new development with the construction of several modern apartment buildings. Knappingen has been open for some years but I've managed to miss it until now. We went here a Thursday night, just looking for somewhere to eat. I ordered a Cinco de Mayo burger really well done (am phobic to "pink" meat) and my partner had tacos (two meat and one fried fish). Not being much of a beer drinker, I had a coke. My partner, who is the beer drinker, claims that a couple of other places in town have a larger selection, but if you want something really good to eat with your beer (-s), Knappingen is the place to go. They have a good selection of popular but small brands and also several of their own brews, in a wide range from IPA and sour to darker ales and stouts. And the food was delicious, well cooked from meat to sides, perhaps a bit uneven when it comes to the fries. The restaurant is in three floors, downstairs is really cosy with sofas to hang out in, just like somebody's living room. Upstairs you can see the brewery equipment, have beer tastings and guided tours of the brewing process. The restaurant part is pub-like, but modern and with lots of class and nice touches such as the custom built bar decor in brass. Will not give 5/5 due to some minor details (lack of my preferred soda and the unevenly cooked fries). But will definitely go here again!

This review is based on drinks only. My wife, son and I stopped here for a drink yesterday. This is a very nice local place with a full bar including many craft beers. The bar is a bit dark with a mid evil feel. The service was great and everyone was friendly . There was awesome music being played.

This Restaruant and It's environement with It's calm oasis, still with the pulsating metropolis just around the corner. In the enrich environment from a time who once was, you Is able to eat some really tasty as equally good quality with raw materials from local farmers as far It's possible were their conviction with focus on organic Is equally natural as It should be everywhere.The prize tag Is a bit above average ofcourse, but what you get in return with all my comments above included, as for the service from the staff make It worth the pay as well for your gastronomic journey.

A lovely home from home experience. The staff are very good and spoke to us in very good English. The place itself is lovely, especially if you are a fan of our Royals with lovely old type pub fittings. There was plenty of choice for food which when served was fresh, piping hot and delicious. Would recommend to anyone that is visiting this beautiful country

Burgers and Bangers has become one of our habitual restaurants, maybe our favourite one in town. We go aprox. once a month to treat ourselves and our experience has always been great.Staff is always nice and helpful and you can see they enjoy customer service. The food is simply awesome. The fries are the best I have tried. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and friendly. If you enjoy burgers, this place is a must.I especially recommend the 2Pac, it's formidable!
