A nice night out. I love that this restaurant is right next to the bioscoop (movie theatre) so makes the perfect "dinner and a movie" date. The atmosphere is easily a 5-star. Very warm, cozy, romantic with candles and low lighting. I love the wine display and stacks of wood behind the bar. Gives such a lovely atmosphere. Really happy with our Couple surprise dish. I love sampling all the different flavours.

We visited here last weekend and had a late lunch snack. Managed to get a table with a view over the canal and spent a delightful hour drinking Affligem Blond from the tap and eating a platter of olives, old cheese, chorizo, walnuts and a selection of warm deep fried Dutch nibbles. Really enjoyed it. The staff were all really friendly, in spite of it being busy.

We enjoyed a lovely meal with the four of us. Service was good, decor tastful and the starters and mains were delicious. Dessert of eclair was a bit dull, but the ipa beer was lovely. Highlight was the porterhouse steak for two, succulent !Bedankt Dave voor de review! Fijn dat jullie hebben genoten van de Porterhouse steak en de Ipa's! Ook bedankt voor de tip over de eclair, hier gaan we mee aan de slag!
