I'm a solo traveler and was staying nearby so this was recommended. I was there at an in-between time. Not lunch rush and not dinner rush. There were maybe 4 tables of people when I arrived. I loved the building & the many options as to where to dine. Indoors. Out on any of several patios. likely more.When I arrived, a waitress was walking away from me. I stood in the doorway waiting to let someone know I was there. I stood for quite a while. (I do think she saw me.) A waiter wizzed by. I was able to glance the food he was carrying and get an idea of a portion I wanted, but not to get that waiter's attention. A group of 5 guys who finished eating got up and stood at the counter to pay. I could tell they were regulars. I asked one of them what he prefers there. He said Goulosh, and realizing I'd not tried that yet, knew it's what I'd get. However my waiting continued. I finally broke in and asked one of those wait-people if I could sit and eat. Yes, sit anywhere. I sat at the table nearest the door and counter. I waited some more. After a little while, I waved to order. The waiter came over and I ordered. The waiter asked if I wanted bread with that. I asked if that was the common way to eat it and he said yes. So soon after I had my meal. I did really enjoy my first real Hungarian Goulash. I can't say it's the best ever as I have no comparison but I did like it. The meat was clearly good quality. It was tender. The potatoes where perfect. I loved the sauce. Upon finishing my meal, I realized this was the style of the staff -- that they let us get their attention rather than come to ask us. In ways, I like this. So when I saw a waitress I got up to ask for my bill. In the meantime, I had all the time I needed to enjoy my meal and didn't feel pushed.Thank you so much for your kind words. Those steakhouse in the centre of Cluj offers amazing food and good service. There is outside seating, but the inside, which is made up to look like a cellar, is nice and comfortable too. A nice selection of wines complements the great meat dishes.

Sat down for a quick evening bite. The service was good and friendly, but the schnitzel and wedges were below expectations - literally taken out of the freezer and cooked; I could have prepared that with stuff from the supermarket. The cocktail was good, but the place needs to up their food asap!

We went to have some delicious lamb burgers that we had other times and we really liked. I donât know what happened, if they changed the chef but the dish was disappointing: hard bread and old, reheated fries that seemed to be from the bottom of the pot, not a single whole one as size. And there were only a few tables, not a full restaurant!Thank you for your feedback and appreciation. Went here because reviews advertised lots of vegetarian options and good burgers. Menu is not extensive but they had a good selection of burgers. The vegetarian burger was delicious with a generous portion of fries. Beers were fairly reasonably priced but some of the other drinks (G n T) were over priced. Waiters were attentive. Would go back if you want a quick and unpretentious meal.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Cluj. Albeit situated in a great location in the city centre, you can only enter it with prior reservation and based on their weekly passwords:) The decor is impressive, lots of paintings, jewelry and the great atmosphere is completed by jazzy music, pale lights and candles. They have quite a lot of wines, cheese platters (that are served with delicious jams and grapes-on the house). Staff is very helpful even with non-connoisseurs. All in all, it was a great evening therefore I strongly recommend the place for a special evening.

Food is really great, from sandwiches to burgers, cakes and stews. Also, you can find Kilkenny beer here, which is pretty rare. Atmosphere is nice and cozy in general, with smiling and kind staff.Great place to watch Liverpool FC games as well!

This restaurant has the best waiters in town, very friendly, polite_ professional behaviour . Although, i think this is not a place for families even if they have kids chairs. in the evening there were many doubtful people, one of them with dirty hair, face bruised, drugged, two other lesbian women at 50 kissing .Heey!
