Their tomatoes cream soup is my favorite. The naan bread is fresh and amazing. I think they should update their location here since they relocate from Gheorghe Sincai street to Dorobantilor.Their new place is smaller than the other one, the menu is more versatile.I recommend you to give it a try.

Every time when I want to eat something delicious and from the Asian cuisine, I go to Shanghai restaurant. Now it's a bit difficult because I don't visit Cluj that often, but I always crave the fantastic meals they cook there.They accommodate people of various diets, as they have meals inclusive of vegetarians and all kinds of meat-eaters as well.Back in my adolescent years, before I became a vegetarian I used to enjoy a nice Sichuan chicken or a good bowl of hot fish soup (both dishes are incredible, and even though the soup sounds weird, it is amazing!)As I have been a vegetarian for over seven years now, I always go back for the mushroom dishes, or the 8-vegetables with rice meal. The spicy soy sauce gives a great touch to the food. Nevertheless, the desserts are good; the caramelised bananas and pineapple are very unique.The service is always impeccable, as the servers are always so kind and ready to accommodate the customers.I always go eat there when I am in Cluj with a reason: it's great from the food to the waiters to the setting.Dear Miriam,Thank you very much for your review! Great atmosphere , awesome staff, excellent food. I have eaten at Indian restaurants around the world and I can honestly say this one stacks up very well. Great options for people with gluten and/or lactose intolerance. If you are in cluj this is a definite must.

We went there for lunch today. After a 45 minute wait, although we were the first customers of the day we were served Pindi Chole, which tasted sour/spoiled, Daahl Maharani which wasn't as good as other times we've had it and Chicken Pakora, with some of the pieces cut into (I don't know if this was the chef trying to see if the meat was cooked or someone pretasting our order) and Naan bread. Both me and my wife felt sick after the meal. Our 3 year old daughter was lucky because she only ate Naan bread. Very dissappointed! The second time we got sick after a meal at this place. The first being a few years back due to undercooked/spoiled tandoori chicken drum sticks.
