I had my 65th birthday here and the food and service were both up to Crabby Joe's usual standards. Of special note are the funnel fries poutine which are to die forThanks for the review. Excellent service. We had poutine and were very pleased. The fries and curds were fabulous. They do use some vegan substitute for St. Hubert's sauce, but it wasn't bad. We did order a couple of the creative poutines, and so can offer our opinion on those. My wife loved her goat cheese poutine. I tasted it and agree that it was quite tasty. But one might question whether it is a true poutine since the cheese is chevre and not cheddar curds (that may seem obvious, but I'm just pointing this out lest a purist look for goat cheddar curds). My poutine had curds, but I elected to have the pulled pork poutine and so had to adjust to a surprise: BBQ sauce! I didn't find the juxtaposition of St. Hubert's sauce & the BBQ sauce so agreeable, and so did a little separating rather than eating my pork with the poutine. Mileage for others may vary. We do recommend this place highly, though, if you are in Stratford. We saw the burgers go by and they looked amazing. The price is a little high, but you do get what you pay for. Bon appétit!

A saturday in october...off to see billy elliott at the theatre after lunch....with that in mind, lunch had to be slightly sped up....the service did not disappoint...friendly, efficient and attentive....unfortunately, the food was just mediocre....sweet potato waffle fries were underdone...the wifes reuben was soggy on the bottom....properly made, it would have had a thin layer of meat followed by sauerkraut and topped with the rest of the meat...this one had the sauerkraut right against the bottom piece of bread....wings were spot on, no problem there....all in all, a rush job in a pub designed for that specific reason....Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your visit to Bentleyâs.Your feedback is extremely important to us, as it assists us in maintaining and improving our high standards.We do hope you'll visit with us again the next time you are in Stratford and we can deliver your meal just the way you like it! 3 couples enjoyed an array of delicious appetizers, entrées including pizza, steak and the signature Braai bowl. Special recognition for the birthday girl was especially appreciated-a birthday card and a glass of bubbly. Some enjoyed a selection of tasty in-house beer on tap and others a glass of red wine. Server was attentive and helpful in our meal selections. Special thanks to the brew master for an informative chat about his beer.

The restaurant's slogan is "eat without borders". Its menu offered a selection that could be called "fusion eclectic" - although with strong Asian origins. The food was very good. The South Indian Aloo Curry was exceptional, offering beautifully balanced, subtle taste experiences. One indication of how skillfully prepared the curry was is that cashews were not soggy. The pasta of the day suffered a bit from being very salty. The braised beef, puff pastry base of "Somewhat Samosa" - its menu name - appetizer was somewhat overwhelmed by the Asian slaw on top. But quibbles aside, the food was very well prepared and presented.The service was friendly and knowledgeable. We noticed, and appreciated, how much attention was given to determining any food limitations that we and diners around us might have.The imaginative decor worked to create an overall pleasant and relaxed, and definitely contemporary-feeling, environment. This was our first visit to The Common. We plan to return.

My wife and I came here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. I had the three egg breakfast special (7.29 CAD) while my wife had the 2 egg special (6.29 CAD). The home fries were nicely seasoned and crispy, the bacon was crispy, the baked beans were delicious, and the eggs were good. The service was prompt and courteous. A good spot for breakfast. This diner is the perfect place to have breakfast. They have lots of different options. There prices are very reasonable. I did had breakfast here almost every day when I was in Stratford. I didnât care for the home fries but the eggs, toast, sausagesy and pancakes were delicious . It was very clean. Joes Diner is very busy especially on a Sunday. You may have to wait in line. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend eating here. I will come back and eat here again.

We ate here three mornings because it was right around the corner from our hotel. Omlettes and eggs benedict were good but the place was seriously understaffed. All three mornings there were two waitresses for about 35-40 patrons. As a result, service was painfully slow. This was high season in a tourist spot so surely management knows that breakfast will be busy. Breakfast with tip about $16-18.

We dine here every year. Reneâs has a limited but varied menu, great service, and wonderful preparation. There are always 4 or 5 different mussels options, all of which are good. This time we also enjoyed the spectacular chicken curry, highly recommended by the way. We are always surprised by the value we receive for the price. We love this small gem.
