Small restaurant, but OMG the food was delicious! I had the 50/50 cheeseburger with a gf bun and the pork belly bites. The meat was incredible. Itâs the perfect place for people with celiacs disease - only 2 items have any gluten, and they are not cooked with anything else!

Lone Star restaurants always feature friendly staff, but in Rotorua, where to be honest, customer service is a bit laidback and haphazard at times, Lone Star stands out. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and nothing was a bother. Shine, in particular, was attentive without being in my face, which was appreciated. The food and drink were great, and they were happy to let me take the free dessert I got for downloading the app away for me. Service was very quick, and it was all around the relaxing experience I needed for dinner on a Monday night while travelling for work. Thanks Lone Star Rotorua! Ohakune and the worldâs best burgers have arrived in Rotorua.On business lunch, heard The Finch had opened and popped in for a burger.The burger was not surprisingly delicious. Just like Ohakune, there was a plethora of craft beers available and the coffee was excellent. The clients I took here were impressed.And among the super friendly staff, I noticed The Blind Finch himself. Thanks for opening here Derek, its just an hours drive from my home. Yay!!
