Nothing worked quite right in this hotel. A/C, TV, shower, refrigerators...all were broken and semi-functional. The breakfast was horrible. instant coffee. Unripened fruit. No toaster or cheese. Ran out of eggs by 8:30am. N3,000 if not included in the rate.

Everything was fine save the service, they would warm your food after service and expect you to stand up and pick it up yourself. They only come to clear up after you have finished eating. Their chicken is small. They have pastries too, like meat pie, sausage and a bakery at the back office.

I came back here on 1st February and have lived here since. When I returned, the coffee machine, the only real Italian one in town that I am aware off, and I checked 6 hotels, was broken. From day 1 on, I heard promises that it would be repaired imminently, that the parts were on their way from Port Harcourt, that the service man was her, that the service man is just waiting for guests to leave the dinner table so he could start etc.Fact is, that the machine was working for 1 day since, around February 8th, and never since.Yesterday I spoke to the restaurant manager who wanted to calm me down and said that it will surely be fixed by the end of this month, that is 3 weeks away.If it was true, there would not have been any coffee for 3 months, that I know. I dont know how long the machine was broken before I returned in February. It worked fine until end of last year, I left ~17 December.Did anyone think of REPLACING the machine, even with a smaller one, until the original one was repaired? How can you have hundreds of guests staying over the time and not have any coffee for breakfast, during the day or after dinner? I'm not counting Nescafe!
