We walked in for a late lunch and were seated at the nice Terrace overlooking the river. We shared several salalds, cold appetizers and steak tartar. Everything was fresh and best quality, steak tartar absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Joseph, recommended a local wine to accompany our food, which was splendid. Would highly recommend!!!

Хотелось попробовать угорской кухни. Заказали 3 различных первых блюда..'палас' и бограч, и что-то с фасолью - вкусно и сытно. Все блюда кроме 'паласа' довольно насыщенные. Салаты не покорили. А вот мясо было тоже очень вкусным. Резюме - вкусно.

Delicious paprikash. Excellent somuha soup. The gypsy potatoes are exquisite. Good variety of salads. I recommend the veal paprikash or the Pork Jewish style (a bit ironic or politically incorrect but that's what the menu describes it as). Usually dinner for two comes in a bit under 10 bucks and is outstanding quality. Very tasty Hungarian cuisine.

Кафе "Старый город" находится рядом с центральной площадью. Оно идеально подходит для паузы во время прогулки по Берегово. Особенно зимой. Удобные мягкие диваны, симпатичный интерьер, приветливая бармен, быстрый интернет. Несколько сортов кофе и чая, десерты из местной кухни и мороженое позволят хорошо отдохнуть и почувствовать атмосферу старого венгерского города. Из недостатков: кафе очень маленькое. Морозильник с мороженым стоит просто в зале. В связи с сильным снегопадом, пол был мокрым и грязным. А у дверей сидеть было прохладно, т.к. постоянно входили-выходили посетители. В остальном мне понравилось.
