Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Passau, Bavaria, Germany. Known as Dreiflüssestadt (City of Three Rivers), Passau is the place where the Danube meets the Inn and the Ilz. The picturesque city lies in Germany’s far southeast corner near the Austrian border. Settled since prehistory and a former hub of the salt trade, it became the Roman village of Batavis, then later the Holy Roman Empire’s largest diocese and a sword-making center. Saint Stephan’s Cathedral, home of the world’s second-largest cathedral organ, is one of Passau’s favorite attractions.

Variety of choices at the buffet. Some of the options are really delicious. Everything is fresh and the price around 9⬠including sushi is best value for money. Sushi could be better concerning rice but still ok. Music is terrible but you can always see the funny side of it. Anyway... Recommended.

Asiatische Fusionsküche im in der wunderschönen Grabengasse.
We stopped for lunch at the Esskultur Umami Bar for a culinary change to the traditional German food we'd been eating. It was a good decision. We shared a Erdnuss nudeln for 8.5 euros - very tasty, large serving easily shared, zippy and delicious. Made fresh to order. You order and pay inside, food served outside at our street-side table. Some inside seating also available. The chef spoke some English and was happy to help me make my lunch choice. Recommended.
