This is a small restaurant, run by Italians serving good Italian Pizza and Pasta. The pizzas are great, getting a table can be difficult as it is busy. Lots of take-aways being picked up, which is always a good sign.

A truly great evening out. Just as well we booked a table at Da Santino for our last evening in Bad Aibling. The room was full with happy diners all having a great time. As the evening wore on, those who left were replaced by other hungry souls eager for some authentic Sicilian dishes.We asked for a succession of dishes and Santino did not disappoint. A thin crispy plain tomato pizza quickly arrived to assuage our hunger accompanied by camparis and helles, all very simple but most delicious. He quickly followed with caprese with a wonderfully soft buffalo mortzarella, vitello di tonnato, a first for me, wafer thin veal strips spread with tuna sauce, fried butterflied king prawns on a bed of rocket. We now moved on to a full bodied Veneto rosso.For secondi Mrs Mac chose sliced calamari lightly fried in thin crispy breadcrumbs, while Abboudi and I had tasty Entrecote, underdone and tender with a small selection of carrots and courgette. Today we made no mistake and chose tiramisu pots which were all they should be with small glasses of slightly dry amaretto, all just delicious. I have eaten many good meals, but this one is right up there. Service and food spot on, thank you Santino.

My wife and I have eaten here about six times in the past 18 months. For the most part, we enjoy visiting this family restaurant. The owner and the female staff members are friendly and engaging, but when the women take the night off, everything suffers. The food is generally good, but we have been disappointed once or twice, again when it is only men working. On our most recent visit, the food was marginal and the service very slow. As you might have guessed, it was just the men working. All in all I would recommend eating there, but if you only see guys, just get a drink and go elsewhere.

Die beiden Mädels machen es klasse - ein kleines mediterranes Restaurant, wo alles frisch zubereitet wird und der Service sehr freundlich ist. Klar, muss man etwas länger warten - wer also etwas Schnelles braucht, ist hier fehl am Platze. Das Warten lohnt sich definitiv. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern, aber trotzdem gemütlich. Sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten kann man hier käuflich erwerben. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Die Pizza ist nach wie vor sehr lecker, die Lüftungsanlage läuft und die Luft im Lokal war ok. - das hat einen Punkt mehr verdient, deshalb jetzt 4 Points.

Good value authentic pizza - recommended by our landlady which was a good shout. Very quick to prepare. Would say the bolognaise pizza was far too spice but everything else excellent.

Small town of Westerham in Bavaria had a surprise for us in this lovely Italian resturant which served one of the best Pizzas and Pastas that we had in Germany. Good place for vegetarians also.

Stopped for a quick late dinner on my way from Therme to my hotel. This was the only restaurant on my way open that late (after 22:00). The waiter spoke Italian which added to a fine Italian atmosphere in the pizzeria. I would prefer not to be there alone as it is very nice place for a dinner with friends or family. I had Pizza salame which was quite fine and a great Hacken-Pschorr weissbier. Didn't spend much time there but overall impression is very good.

Auf Grund der positiven Bewertungen haben wir das Restsurant besucht. Es waren nur 2 Tische besetzt. Der Service war gut und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich. Wir hatten aus der Tageempfehlung Nudeln mit Gemüse. Das Gemüse war zerkocht und das Essen war mit Rucola zugedeckt. Die Nudeln waren keine Besonderheit, eher Grossmarktware. Das Gnocci-Gericht mit Lachs und Broccoli wurde in einer Sahnesosse ertränkt.Alles in allem war das den Preis nicht wert.

Italienisch ist kaum etwas, wennes um die Einrichtung des Restaurants geht,aber es ist noch der Charme einer uralten bayerischen Wirtschaft zu spüren. Noch nicht einmal in einem Dorf wie Vagen konnte sich bayerische Kche etablieren und so sind wir der italienischen Wirtsfamilie sehr dankbar, dass sie mit ihren tollen Pizzen einen Anziehungspunkt im Ort geschaffen haben. Freundlichkeit, ohnehin sehr selten in der bayerischen Gastronomie, haben Wirt und Personal gleich mitgebracht. Die Speisekrte ist unauffällig italienisch: alles, woran man sich längst gewöhnt hat, nichts Spezielles. Die Machart gut bürgerlich und so passt es wieder zum Ambiente.
