This is my second time at this restaurant in 3 months, service is good, view is ok of the sea and port area but the menu is poor and the food is avg, most of the dishes on the menu were not available and the preparation of the fresh fish was not that great. Nothing gourmet or out of the ordinary. I guess for the area its supposed to be one of the best restaurants but twice I had the same experience with avg food.

This is a mid range hotel and restaurant, we only had lunch there and the fried red snapper was excellent. Everyone was most happy with their fish. Staff was very attentive and view is spectacular.

Compared to most of the ocean view bars this restaurant was quiet and close to our hotel. The food was good but a bit pricey compared to the "usual" Dominican prices. The waiter was nice and patient.

We were looking for something different because of being tired of typical dominican food and then we saw this tiny place and walked in. The placed is owned by a nice couple from Venezuela. The food was really good and cheap, portions were big. They have outdoor sitting where you can watch people passing by.

Some nights we even have live karaoke. Come and visit us from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm from Thursday to Sunday and holidays. La Parrillada Express es un espacio donde puede degustar junto a tus amigos y familiares de tus cortes preferidos de carnes y pescados cocidos a la parrilla o a la plancha, cócteles y cervezas nacionales e internacionales. Just came from a vacation trip to the Dominican Republic , we visited Carnes Express in Barahona city and we couldn't ask for more . Delicious and very fresh meat , a personalized welcome by his owner Mario and a very friendly environment to enjoy . I truly recommend Carnes Express 100 % .!
