Reviewed By ajrowe0615I stayed here a week for business. The room was comfortable. It had an air conditioner. The shower was tiny but manageable. The bed mattress was pretty thin but I slept OK. The restaurant cooked food to order and they were easily able to a commode my vegan diet. There is a nice 2-story winter garden room but I didn't spend much time there because of the strong cat-urine smell. My hosts said this was the best hotel in the area and I believe them. The staff really does not speak English so I had to rely in Russian companions to always translate for me. The wifi was free in the room.

An average hotel with helpful staff
Reviewed By TKNgaioWe chose this hotel because of its necessary proximity to places we needed to go to, but I do not think it would be a place to stay for a holiday rest in Balakovo. One would chose a place closer to the beautiful river Volga. However it was functional and practical, clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. The receptionist spoke basic English. It was originally a bank now converted into a hotel. This gives the building some peculiarities, such as the thickness of some walls preventing wifi access. We changed rooms as the first room we were given had no window and it turned out would not receive wifi. The second room was a good improvement. A jug and cups were provided for making a morning cup of tea but we bought our own tea bags. There is very conveniently a small grocery shop next door, which sells all sorts of food goods including alcohol at a very reasonable cost. I dont think the hotel is used to foreign guests, but they tried their best to make us comfortable - we were a bit of a surprise. A walk around the neighbourhood in the evening was fascinating as it was an ordinary neighbourhood with old and new houses, some gardens beautifully tended others neglected. A slice of real life. It is a good 20 minutes walk to the central area and river park. I would take a taxi to the old part of Balakovo where you find historic buildings. Taxis are not expensive.

Reviewed By Urlana070Выбор данной гостиницы пал из-за Ее близости к нужному объекту, но как оказалось, она находится в промзоне и вид с территории на трубы близ лежавших предприятий. Персонал вежливый особо хочу отметить хорошее обслуживание в столовой, завтраки достойные на 4. Если вам нужен вай-фай то его придётся ловить в холе у регистратора. И если в эконом варианте вас устроят матрасы где чувствуешь каждую пружину то это ваш выбор:).

Reviewed By TravelAnna132Очень понравилось это атмосферное и уютное место! Не пожалели, что с друзьями выбрали эту базу отдыха. Баня, бассейн всё на высшем уровне. Коттедж, в котором абсолютно всё есть, порадовала зона барбекю. Даже шезлонги есть! Рекомендую и буду советовать друзьям!
