This is a great little restaurant/bar that has just opened up close to the Hotelier about three minutes from the center of town. As many local restaurants, the entrance is deceiving, looking like a little hole in the wall, in a lime green building adjoining a mini/mart (which is a nice minimart too). The two owners (brothers) started this from scratch, and its clean, modern, with paninies, a wood fired pizza oven, flat screens (if you want some news) and wifi (if you want your email). I had a shrimp taco and a fish taco - both were really fresh and excellent, and the whole bill came to 31 pesos so do the math. Cheap and great! Open for breakfast through till 7:00 pm with the ubiquitous happy hour with 2 for 1 marguerites, etc. The owner (who also waited on the tables) speaks impeccable English and is very friendly without being obsequious. My new go-to place in Todos Santos! I gave is a three on atmosphere, etc because it just opened, so no drunks dancing on the tables, but hasn't established a regular clientele or reputation yet, but I'm guessing it will be jumping when the word gets out.

This is our new go-to restaurant in Todos Santos for great food, presentation and prices. We have not tried the beef (of which they have a good selection), but love the fish and shrimp. We have tried the fresh fish (grilled to perfection), sashimi (delicious and fresh) and last night I had the panko shrimp. Large shrimp, beautiful presentation and delicious. A couple of weeks ago they had a lunch special - 3 types of tortillas with 3 different salsas and 3 different fillings - scallop, shrimp and fish. Definitely not your average Mexican outdoor restaurant. The staff speaks limited English so you may have to speak to the chef if your Spanish is not good.

Alquimia is an excellent cocktail bar located next to the Casa Tota hotel in Todos Santos. The bartenders are always friendly and their drinks menu features something incredible for everyone. They also have a decent selection of wine.It features a lovely, private, open-air garden-style with a stage that regularly hosts local musicians.Alquimia also features an art gallery space with frequently-changing displays of works by local artists.Each evening Alquimia has several different appetizer-style food dishes available, such as pulled-pork sliders, and risotto. These work as a starter while you enjoy drinks, prior to going to another restaurant for dinner.We've been to Alquimia several times on this trip and definitely recommend it!

Love this place. We found this place on our way to La Paz from San Jose. It was morning time and it looked like they are one of the few places in Todos Santos that are open early in the day. I really like the decor in this place. There are a lot of catrinas! And some cool photos are well placed in toilet area.We had breakfast and it was very nice. It was tasty and the size of the meal was proper. The orange juice was freshly squeezed for the day and the coffee was excellent. I have no complain about the food. I also have to give shout out to the staff. They are really fun people and they know how to make your visit enjoyable. We ended up coming again the next day for another breakfast and it was as good as the first visit.Thank you very much for your comment We are vey happy to know that you enjoy your visit. We went with high food expectations because of the TripAdvisor reviews. Unfortunately, the kitchen did not deliver. My coconut shrimp was good but not amazing. My wife and son ordered steak which was overpriced and poorly prepared (although the chimichurri was good). The band playing was very good and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The band saved the kitchen sub-satisfactory performance.

We arrived without a reservation, but were able to be seated anyway. The food was very innovative and quite tasty. Service, however, was not good. We waited for a long time for our order to be taken (I finished my margarita and the accompanying ice). Our food took a long time to arrive as well. When my plate was delivered to the table, I requested some water. It didn't arrive. I asked again a few minutes later. Nothing. When the waiter came to clear my table, I refused to let him take my plate until I got some water. Finally, I got a glass of water. My plate was cleared, and we ordered dessert. Do you think anyone came back to see if I wanted more water when they returned with the dessert plate? No. Again, the location of this restaurant is exceptional, the chefs are very skilled, but the service is far below what it should be. If the food hadn't been so good, I would have given 2 or 3 stars.
