Along the shorelines, these baby turtles have miniscule chance to both making it out to sea and living for long in the water. You can help by launching an infant turtle on its life voyage, showing it out of a wooden bowl in to the sand and watch it waddle into the sea. It's a lot of fun for kids of all ages and a good cause. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our needs - sunbathing, boogie boarding, relaxing. For $10 we rented to beach chairs and an umbrella for the day. Be prepared for lots of local vendors trying to see you their wares. A simple, "No, gracias" was enough - but we repeated the phrase about 30 times that day.

This is the focal point of the plaza in Todos Santos. It was repainted years ago from its original sepia color, which kind of white-washed the historic charm it had, but I'm used to it now. It's an awe inspiring space to be in...and at certain times I love to sit outside while the congregation sings. It's a beautiful experience.

This is a pretty beach that's off the beaten path. To get to it, pay *really* close attention after you pass Km marker 57 from Mexico-19 ... there will be a dirt path not too far from the marker. (We saw it as we passed it and had to drive a bit for a U turn ... then we drove slowly pretty much on the shoulder the next time to find it).
The road is VERY bumpy and feels like it will never end. (I estimate it's at least a mile.) We didn't have 4-wheel drive but SO wished we did. Nonetheless, with slow and careful driving, we finally made it. You'll see other cars, so you'll know where to park. Then you need to walk perhaps a 1/4 mile through palm trees to the beach.
Even though there were about a dozen cars, the beach felt private because it's large, and everyone was spread out.
The sand was surprisingly smooth ... no rocks, but also no seashells. But it was a great surface for frisbee.
The water was kind of rough when we went. And of course cold since it was February. Yet there's a little tidal pool during low tide that the kids enjoyed playing in because the water was warm.

One of the most beautiful Beaches around Todos Santos. Not great for Surfing, but perfect for swimming, lounging, and walking through the soft sand. Can be a bit difficult to find, but just ask a local and you'll have no problem. The gates to get your car out close at sunset, as camping is not allowed here, so be sure to pack up before then. Other than that, bring some snacks, a few beers, and you are all set for a quiet and perfect day at the beach.

We enjoyed the museum, with mock-ups of local houses, local politicians and presidents of Mexico, a lot about Frida Kahlo, woodworking tools, ancient skulls and the story of Dom Ramon Wong. It is in an old school with some interesting modern vfrescos and is clearly a thriving cultural centre for the town.
