I often frequent Rita's Ristorante as generally it offers exceptional value, good quality food and great service. It's very child friendly (as it's Italy) and dog friendly (as long as they're exceptionally well behaved and you can eat inside or outside, but be sure to find some shade as 'pranzo' isn't usually a quick affair, even for the 'workers' of the town.
Occasionally, there might be an 'off day' (usually to do with service and the servers being a bit stressed when it's so busy), but generally, it's great and I'd strongly recommend anyone new to the town give it a try.

We ate here twice during our stay. The first time was part of a large wedding party and secondly as part of a smaller group. The staff were experienced, used to dealing with large and small groups, professional and worked very hard to serve us well on both occasions. The menu, which they happily translated into English for us, was varied and offered a wide choice of Tuscan dishes, mainly meat and seafood, . The menu was so tempting but portion sizes were very generous so you may struggle if you order starter, pasta then a main course! Maybe share if you have a smaller appetite.

It's the second time I went to this pizza joint and that was no accident. It's tucked away in the Mountains and unless you're staying in Benabbio (which we weren't) it always takes some effort to get there. But the restaurant is well worth the drive. don't get me wrong: it's a basic pizza joint, albeit that the pizzas are made in an wood oven. But the main feature of this restaurant is the relaxed atmosphere. This truely a family business: Giovanni makes the thin-crusted pizzas, his sister is waitering (and speaks English!) and their mother is in charge of the pastas. Make sure to try the tiramisu.

We ate a great deal of ice cream during a 10 day stay in Tuscany: too much, really. But having sampled this place and realised there was nothing else to touch it (believe me, we tried to find somewhere better), we just kept on coming back. Too many favourites to list: fruity flavours just as wonderful as chocolate and nut. My arteries may never be the same again.

We have been to Cappuccetto Rosso several times for dinner. The last time a week ago was very special. We had a Cernia (Grouper) roasted with potatoes, olives and tomatoes - it was not on the menu but was offered to us as there were 4 of us. It was perfectly cooked and the chef obviously took pride in his work. The wine list is extensive and the staff's knowledge of the wines shows an interest and pride in their service. We cannot speak highly enough of this establishment and can't wait to go back which in fact we will do on Friday,

I was part of a Conference group lunching here, so my experience is of a group already booked in and with food pre-determined for us. It was a very congenial and happy experience. The proprietor was warmly welcoming and the food plentiful and tasty. A really nice experience.
The trattoria looks small from the front, but the restaurant at the back is quite spacious. I'd not found this place before, after ten years of visiting Bagni, but next year I shall certainly be back.

I am a regular at Luana's restaurant which offers very good value, is authentic Italian cooking and has several staff who speak English. Always a warm welcome, with a menu of the day served at lunchtimes and very often in the evenings. Good house wine and a warm welcome. The cuisine is particularly good at weekends when Luana is chef!!!

This is a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere! Worth the drive though! The waiter was very helpful with choosing what to eat! Just fell in love with the place and will surely revisit!
