It is the capital of the eponymous district of Reutlingen. As of April 2008, it has a population of 109,828. Reutlingen has a university of applied sciences, which was founded in 1855, originally as a weavers' school. Today Reutlingen is home to an established textile industry and also houses machinery, leather goods and steel manufacturing facilities. Ja, das Wohnzimmer... Der Gastraum ist in der Tat sehr klein, das ist nicht weiter schlimm, ganz im Gegenteil, so werden recht schnell Kontakte geknöpft und Gespräche, teils sehr interessante, geführt... Im Sommer lädt der AuÃenbereich zum verweilen... Nett und jederzeit eines Besuchs wert!

Have a coffee, get some snacks, buy Sicilian specialties from producers - this is a very nice place in a barn. During orange time in winter we buy our orange boxes there coming from family farms. Have a look, buy excellent olive oil and drink a coffee with a snack.

Hands down, they serve the best coffee in the whole region. Thats why it is every Saturday packed. They have seats outside, but also nice bar stools inside. Besides great cappuccino and espresso, they have a delicious hot chocolate and sparkling wine. It is also possible to buy the beans and make your own 'cafe winkler coffee' at home. The staff is very friendly (one of them might even be the owner).Additionally they offer fresh croissants on Saturdays, unfortunately Sundays closed.
