The staff are very friendly and very helpful. They were also very nice and patient about my appalling Austrian (I am only just starting to learn). The décor is nice and cheerful. The food is really nice and all made from scratch by the lovely guys working there and you can taste it in the quality. Very good value for money as well. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Hermagor.

We have been to Vinissimo now for a few times. The pizza's are of top quality with a local touch. Using local Austrian ham for example creates a unique pizza. If you don't like pizza, no worries, the pasta's are also verry good. Don't forget to keep a space for the home made tiramisu. All together a good Italian in Hermagor Austria.

Aus der Werbung konnten wir entnehmen, daà es Samstags einen Grill im Garten gibt - mit Grillspezialitäten. Wir waren Samstag da, kein Grill weit und breit. In der Karte aber eine Grillplatte für 2 Personen um 32 Euro. Die haben wir bestellt. War jedoch eine groÃe Entäuschung, lieblos angerichtet, das Fleisch gewürz- und geschmacklos, die Pommes hart. Tolle Aussicht und ein schöner Platz - zum Essen jedoch nicht zu empfehlen. Denken mit Wehmut zurück als es hier noch die Pizzeria PerDu gab. Da war alles perfekt.

Non mi sarei mai aspettato che un italiano potesse fare una pizza così commerciale e mediocre. Impasto nella media, ma condimento si salvi chi può. Ai turisti di certo piace e sicuramente anche a qualche italiano. D'altronde la pizza si sa, anche mediocre mette d'accordo tutti. Beh quasi. Pomodoro palesemente di barattolo, tanto che per l'appartamento ho acquistato per errore un barattolo di pomodoro con origano e basilico e aveva lo stesso identico sapore di quello della pizza. Potete trovarlo alla spar. Formaggio filante e non mozzarella, anzi formaggio non filante. Prezzo in linea con la zona. Ma il Vino bianco servito caldo a fine agosto è il top! Alla mia richiesta di averne uno freddo, lo han portato via e poi han riportato lo stesso con ghiaccio!!! Delirio totale. Prezzo vino esoso per la qualità . Insomma uno specchietto per le allodole. Un consiglio: usate passar di pomodoro fresco e/o a pezzettoni e la mozzarella vera, basilico fresco e origano fresco, poi potete scrivere pizza e davvero fare pizza.

It was almost 3 p.m. and we were hungry after ice-skating. Holzer was the third restaurant we tried, having been rejected at others which only served lunch until 2:30 p.m. We were not the only late "lunchers" as the place was packed and we managed to grab the last vacant table on the veranda (with beautiful view of the lake). Service was friendly, but they obviously had not counted on being that popular as we had to wait quite a bit for our food to arrive. I had the pizza Venecia [sic!], which I ordered in the smaller version (-1.50 EUR). It was o.k., but the crust tasted like your average freezer pizza and it also tasted quite garlicky. We had two children in our party who appreciated the fact that the kids' pizza came with a small sweet treat. The other novelty are flatscreen TVs in toilet cubicles, meaning you can watch Mr. Bean while sitting on the toilet...My friends also tried the cake and found it quite good. There also was quite an impressive ice-cream menu, but none of us felt like a big dessert. Coffee certainly was very nice and exceeded my expectations. All in all, no culinary highlight, but a nice and friendly place with fair prices.
