After being annoyed by the Georgioupolis Beach Hotel for overbooking and giving us a room a distance away we were prepared to continue our journey onto Chania, but for the great ladies at Summertime, where we spent a couple of hours in the afternoon and then again in the evening when we had a great dinner (not bothering to use the half board paid for at the GBH).Thanks Summertime, it was worth staying!

Visited Chaplin Café to watch the Champions League Semi-Final. Really friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. A mixture of tourists and locals. Chaplin's is a welcome addition to the Plateias scene. Modern and bright décor with a great view over the square with its colourful fountains display. We plan to go back soon to try out the bar menu.

I love ice cream and at frulato I have found ice cream heaven. The milk comes from local sheep and blended on the premises. There are many flavours to choose from,cream being my favourite and at only â¬1 a scoop it can't be batten. Frulato is a must for all ice cream lovers and there is also a wide selection of cakes and various beverages.
