Déjeuner local et sur le pouce à quelques quadras de la place centrale.Une carte typique de Colombie. Tout est très bon et vraiment pas cher.16 000 COP pour 2 boissons, 2 cafes, 1 soupe et 1 plat principal.Le personnel est accueillant et la petite cours ombragée permet de respirer pendant les grandes chaleurs.

Stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a resident we spoke to. They had a lunch special for $9,000 COP. Everything was really good. The special included your choice of soup or beans, pork, beef or chicken, rice, salad, french fries and a guarapo to drink. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant sits right on the central square with a view of the park.

Like one of the previous reviewers we picked Jara's primarily because of its great location, i.e., balcony tables overlooking the plaza. There was a nice breeze at the time we sat down so that made it even better. We had a better experience than some reviewers, though, as our mesero (waiter) was very helpful and went out of his way to meet our requests, e.g., they were out of salmon, but he offered to order one from the restaurant below and deliver it to our table. As others have noted, the name of the place is misleading. This is not "gourmet" by any stretch of the imagination, just typical (tipico) Colombian dishes. My salmon (pictured) came from the restaurant below, but is probably very close to how Jara's would have prepared it. It was grilled, and came with a small salad, coconut rice, and some "bullet proof" platanos (fried plantains).Service is added to your bill, so it pays to read the fine print. All in all, not a bad place to eat and the view is arguably the best in town.

La comida es deliciosa y la música es excelente, la sangrÃa está muy bien presentada y rica, aunque falta más variedad de fruta pero en general está muy bien. Un buen ambiente para ir con tu pareja.

We were in Santa Fe de Antioquia mid week, and were searching for a place to have lunch. There seemed to be very few choices to our liking. We ventured one block off the square and found this lovely spot. Playing in the background was smooth jazz. The staff was friendly and very eager to have us join them. The food was excellent and priced reasonably.

We found it just walking by I decided to try it. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Prices were on par with all the restaurants in the area. We had a table near the street so we can also see people watch. What we were there they also had a three member band that played very good music. Overall would definitely recommend this place.Thank you for your comment

We had booked lunch here via out tour guide and when we walked in - we were really amazed at the interior decoration. The whole restaurant is covered in paintings. Must be hundreds of them. It is really an eye opener. There is also a very pretty internal courtyard too. We had a salad for starters followed by a Perrier steak - it was cooked to perfection and very tasty.If you make the effort to get to the town - Iâd head here to eat - you will not be disappointed!
