Only 3 cottages tells you this is a quiet place. Fabulous location on the North shore. Great secluded beach to the right allows you to walk for hours. Well-maintained cottages with kitchens. Gazebo with new gas grill is perfect for great dinners.

Heaven on Earth

The cottages are beautifully unique and right on the most gorgeous beach. Staff is excellent from the maid service to the bar to the gift shop and restaurant. If you are a beach snob this will definitely not disappoint. If you like excellently cooked lobster and seafood, this will not disappoint. If you like the freshest and tastiest refreshments from the bar, this will not disappoint. Overall, if you like seclusion, beauty and attentive service, this is the place to be. Can't wait to go back!

Loblolly Beach Cottages

Newly renovated with elegance

Anagada is one of my favorite places in the BVI. It is truly a place where you can get away. The property here is beautiful! Colorful villas nestled in the sand amongst the vibrant trees and flowers. Pathways leading to wonderful little nooks on the beach as well as elevated overlooking it. No need to drive anywhere for snorkeling - just hop in the water here. We stayed in the Green Cottage. It is what beach modern minimalism should look like. Open sitting area with a kitchenette, single bedroom and bathroom. The cottage had Wifi and AC in the bedroom if one was so inclined. Beautiful coper details everywhere - sinks, faucets, silverware. Port hole window at the kitchen door was one of my favorite touches. A wonderful place. I can not wait to come back!

Anegada Beach Cottages

Robinson Crusoe getaway with my daughter

Reviewed By Catherine D

I used to stay at these cottages 15 years ago, so was dying to show my 11 year old daughter and little has changed. Firstly they have to be one of the best little secrets - on a world class beach which you practically have to yourself. What's great about these cottages, as opposed to other cottages on the island - they are well spaced apart from each other and not bang next one to another - they also have some trees and bushes and not just stuck there all alone, they have character and of course the location is second to none. They are basic though, don't go expecting plush interiors or anything fancy. But they are clean, the water pressure is good, good quantity of hot water, the bed comfy, it's quiet (except if windy then you get a bit of wind whistle), there's a well equipped kitchen (no oven but you dont need one), no Wifi (don't need that either) everything works - maybe an upgrade on the sun umbrella table at the beach to be level and a table cloth on the plastic garden table in the deck would be nice- but for a Robinson Crusoe feeling - it's just perfect. Melvyn the owner was super nice and let us check in early and out late on last day which was really decent of him. Loved it.

Lo'Lolly Beach Cottages

Lo'Lolly is a nice place to stay!

Reviewed By Takeme2theCaribbean

We stayed at Lo'Lolly Cottages via a two island package we booked with Agape Cottages on Tortola. Anegada is completely different than Tortola. We did enjoy our time there. This trip was part of our honeymoon. The cottage was great. Much nicer than I thought it would be. It is one of four. We stayed in the green one. The kitchen was tiny, but we made do. It has some basic utensils, some pots and pans, a water dispenser (like you see in a doctors office), a fridge, microwave, and stove. They stocked the fridge with beer and wine and soda. The living area was cute with a dining table and seating area. One complaint, is there are no curtains on the windows. Luckily we were the only ones staying at the cottages. Our bedroom was huge and had A/C which was essential for us. It had a queen bed and one twin bed. Both which were very uncomfortable. There was a TV, but it was broken. In the bathroom you could see the ocean from inside the shower. That was fantastic. We had ocean views from the cottage and it was amazing. Another complaint is the lock on the door was flimsy. I did not feel at all secure. The beach the cottages are on is not ideal for swimming but would be great for snorkeling. There is too much coral and its too rocky. I highly recommend Cow Wreck beach. It is a great beach. It has a beach bar, bathrooms, a restaurant, a small gift shop, some thatched umbrellas for shade. The people are very nice and accommodating. Anegada has only a few paved roads so 4WD is a must and a car is a must. The roads are not made for biking. Too many potholes for that. The restaurants only serve dinner by request and you have to make your reservation by 4pm, for time and what you want to eat. This is ok if you remember... but we forgot one night and most restaurants would not serve us except for Cow Wreck. And we had a great meal, it was very tasty. We personally did not appreciate that aspect of Anegada. The grocery stores are minimalistic. The best one we found was Lit Bit Taz by the ferry dock. We were very disappointed because we could not find any fresh seafood to cook ourselves. We asked around and could not get anything. Two things to not forget on your trip to Anegada: sunscreen with a high SPF and BUG SPRAY. We literally got attacked one night at dinner and were competing for our food with about 100 black flies. If you do not like bugs this is not the place for you. Overall, we had a good time on Anegada. If it were not for Cow Wreck Beach, we probably would not have had as nice a time. I would recommend Anegada because it is a very different place to go and interesting place to see.
