Fabulous Place
Reviewed By ManderjThis was our second visit. It was absolutely fabulous again. Such a lovely warm welcome from Alex and Sonila as soon as we arrived. Such a lovely family and made our stay so very special. Fabulous views from our bungalow. Ate most evenings in the restaurant as Sonila is such a great chef. She really went the extra mile and cooked some fantastic meals. She also does great breakfasts, lunches and snacks. It was great to sit by the pool, have a swim, enjoy a snack and take in those wonderful views. Helen was very helpful and welcoming and made the booking very easy. Alex, Sonilla and Merremae really made our holiday and we had some great laughs and had so much fun. We will be back again to this wonderful special place.

Reviewed By happyhooker40Managed to get to the Gardens again in August 2020 amid all the problems very very quite however still the great place it always is Yiota and Dimitri where as helpful as ever and place was run fantastically whilst still conforming to Covid rules Anaxos was also very quit with a lot of places not even opening . will be going again this August if any one has any questions please feel free to ask :)

Lovely Sunloungers
Reviewed By ManderjWell we had breakfast here. The food was good but oh my tea not so good , served with hot milk which curdled when added to the tea so it must have been off. That is the reason I have not given a better rating. Service was good and food and drink arrived quickly. Absolutely love the sun loungers so comfortable and a button to,press to call a server to order food and drink to be delivered to your sunbed. We had lovely sandwiches for lunch which were very tasty. Overall a great day at the beach.

Lovely stay at Vassilis Studios!!
Reviewed By hjet64We had a very nice stay at Vassilis Studios!!We were there sadly enough only for 3 nights because our friends got married in Anaxos.The appartments [ we had an appartment at the top in the front of the building] were just redecorated, spacious and clean,the beds were very good.There is wire-netting in the windows and doors to keep the mosquitos out.Breakfast in the new breakfast room downstairs where you can make your own breakfast is ok for Greek standards. Fresh bread,fruits,milk juice,coffee,marmelade and an egg from his own chickens every morning!We didn't need more! Wi-Fi worked just fine. The building lies in a very quiet neighbourhood,you have to park on the street.The appartments are not more then a 10 minute walk from the beach,restaurants and cafes.A supermarket and car rental are very close to Vassilis.If you like [long] walks you can walk to Petra or even Molyvos.The owner is very kind! [Thank you for our lovely stay!] We hope to come back sometime!

Reviewed By Sharon BStayed here end of May. Lovely room with a big balcony which had the sun nearly all day. Overlooking the pool. Good of Alison to leave us bottled water, milk and tea, coffee facilities in our room. Nice to have slippers provided to. Everything we needed for our weeks stay. First time we have stayed here, Alison showed me round them last year so knew we would book them soon. Very easy to book too. Even had Alison arrange pick up from airport defo beets the bus transfers. Rooms were cleaned every day by Vicky, Toiletries provided too. Definitely stop here again.

Reviewed By lekistyxI've never stayed in this hotel but I'm sure it's very nice according to the reviews but a number of the reviews on here for the "Harris Hotel" which by the way is on the road to Petra out of Anaxos , are incorrectly posted as they mention Rosa , Stavros and her family who run the "Haris studios and apartments" which are situated in the centre of Anaxos near the Plaza Palace and is listed under "specialist lodging" rather than "Anaxos Hotels" .

Excellent Hotel
Reviewed By Richard1267We've visited Anaxos several times before but this was our first stay at Christina's Gardens. We had walked past the hotel several times on previous visits and it always looked nice, so we decided to give it a try. The hotel is family run and the whole family are very welcoming to their guests. We were made to feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. The hotel consists of the main building, pool area and then several accommodation blocks dotted around the gardens. The whole place is kept extremely clean and tidy, and the gardens are very well cared for. The hotel is on the main road into Anaxos and only a short walk to the beach or to nearby restaurants and tavernas. It's mid-way between the two bakeries on the main road and there's also a supermarket a short distance away. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Ours was an upstairs room with a small balcony on the rear, overlooking the beach road and the main road. The front of the room faced towards the sea and provided some amazing sunsets. We had seen some negative reviews about Iggy, the owner of the hotel. Many people saying that he was very loud. He's actually a really great bloke if you bother to get to know him. Yes, he has a loud voice but he's a very larger than life character. We bumped into him on our second day while walking through the gardens. He sat down on a step and we chatted away for ages. He told us all about his hotel, his family and the guy that had been going there for over 50 visits. I think he was genuinely interested to hear what we thought of Anaxos and how his hotel compared to others that we had stayed at. I would recommend trying the food at the hotel. It may not be as cheap as some of the local restaurants but by British standards, it's still great value for money. The food is all prepared by Iggy's wife and it tastes amazing. Their daughters both work in the hotel and serve in the restaurant. The food is proper traditional Greek food, prepared to traditional recipes. Give it a try. We were so impressed by the hotel that we're already making plans to go back next summer.

Reviewed By CourserugbyVisited the Lakis Studios for a second time. We were instantly recognised by our host and had a fantastic and relaxing holiday. We welcomed with open arms by the rest of the family and were included in a family celebration. Accommodation is typically Greek, Very clean and well kept. My wife had a different cocktail every evening and we enjoyed many long chats with Lakis. A perfect place to relax with a combination of nationalities enjoying their time by the pool. Made extra special by a host who can never do enough to help you enjoy your break.
